In your summing up reminds me of a phrase - Never Waste a Crisis, come out the other end better, whether that is through new skills or being more self sufficient, more tolerant or understanding etc etc. Also for all the other stuff going on, can you make a difference? If yes, then plan it, do it, don't worry too much, and focus on important things. If you can't make a difference, then there's little to be gained from worrying, so focus on important things.

Do not let the demons in! Stay positive because you have each other and August. BTW, try KZbin channel "Story Time From Space" with him. You will have the story to hear, talk about where they are, the Space Station, about opportunities like jobs and support personnel. I spent time with my 30mth grandson which held his attention for more than a cartoonish video. The book was 'Rosie Revere-Engineer' and the astronaut readers' hair was sticking up and out wild. Books of many different age groups. If you need some food stuffs, just ask and your online community will help. No need to be too proud when items aren't available - we will share and get through this together.

Sadly when this is over the people and politicians will pour money into preparing the country for another pandemic but forget about the many other things that could wipe out this country and divert money and attention away from those projects. The decisions of the next several months will be more emotionally driven than logic.

You all have a bit of land so you have room to grow some of your own food. I suggest that you use self wicking tubs as they save time with watering and are much easier than tilling the land. From tomorrow midnight (Thursday) my country is on lockdown for 21 days (may ne extended depending on the success of this), minimal movement, social distancing. I am in South Africa and there are serious challenges as to keeping certain urban groups safe as they still do not seem to grasp the severity of the situation. We have poor rural areas where ignorance is not bliss and I fear for those people and still many believe it's a "white-man's" disease and the black population will be safe. I take my hat off to our President and Govt trying to help and educate everyone and I pray it will not get out of hand. Today in a shop I talked to a frightened supermarket worker who asked me if she will be safe? What can I reply? Keep the basic hygiene and distancing and then I can pray for them and she asked that I please do. One feels so helpless and also grateful that I am in a position to be relatively isolated and safe, but my heart goes out to those who are not in such a good position. I do not think we realise what negative impact this will have on poorer countries, not sure mine will have much left either. But stay safe and keep posting as we need to encourage and support each other

Are you teaching your son Swedish? If you are that is a great thing to do since it is part of his heritage, I had a friend that was raised in a bilingual home ( Spanish,English) I once ask how did he learn to speak both languages so well, his reply was "I don't know". just hearing both as a child it came natural to him. by the way love your videos me and my wife watch one or two every day or so.

I don't know your age Linn (and I'm not asking! 😬), but I imagine we're from the same generation... But I guess I always worried too much, about everything. And unfortunately I knew it was going to happen sooner or later. 😕 Anyway, the economy is gone right now. I don't know how things are in the US, but here in Brazil the only thing can be done is to approve the changes in the Congress... Beautiful, the rest, it's going to be only Keynesian politics. They are necessary right now. 😕 Anyway... Fingers crossed!

It will get better Linn....i'll Only worry when they start welding the windows shut on Wall Street. My best friend is partner-owner of a local Morgan Stanley office...its been interesting for him to say the least= ) May i recommend Everyone look at the 'SPY' Index fund, Live Nation or CCEP. Just a couple thoughts.....As for grocery shopping, it is kinda Ha-Larious? Im just pretending im on the Island of IOS in Greece grocery shopping. You get what you get, jus sayn. Sidenote: I Will say, things will Drastically change for China in the next 3 years...i s@@ a Lot of disengagement. a Lot!!
