How do u take apart the pump? I'm having trouble removing the filter closest to the motor, how do I remove the 2nd chamber. I was able to remove the very end of it but can't for the 2nd.

@@MsAprilsbaby Sorry for the slow reply! First time I took it apart it required a good bit of force. I think it's just a bit too stuck together. Worked fine after that.

Were you running that filter only ? Because i puted in my 29 gallon tank yesterday but the water is starting to be cloudy

Is it a newer tank? You might be getting a bacterial bloom.

@@tomwall2361 im gonna tell you what I just did to fix it get a filter with bio media if you dont have one and place BIOMAX carbon and this will solve your issue in less than 3 hrs like it did to me

Any idea if I can add carbon pellets or pollyfill to that interior tube (the plastic tube inside the sponge) or will that cause problems with the motor? The cheap sponges it comes with don't seem to trap much fine particulate matter, and my tank is getting cloudy with just this filter running.

What I did is shove both sponges into the bottom section because this is where mine was catching the most particulates and filled the top chamber with biological media.

Nope, I just get oxygen into the tank through surface disturbance.

@@jesusreza4835 take it apart and reassemble it give it some time and the noise should go away if not the product might be defective or just loud naturally

@@jesusreza4835 Mine isn't too loud, but I guess loudness is relative. Could be an impeller issue but with a budget powerhead there's not likely much you can do to fix it.

How do you add the air attachment?

Check this time stamp at 0:40 you’ll see a tube on top of the filters output nozzle and on that part you’ll have to put your airline tubing and that’s what will suck air that part needs to be out of water for it to work

I'm having the same issue. I connect it together but once I turn the filter on, it blasts the airflow attachment right off. I have it on the lowest setting too. Does anybody know how to keep it attached?

@@msshay421 I had to wrap insulating tape around the filter output and then squeeze the nozzle onto it, to get it to stay. If that didn't work I was going to zip tie it onto the filter. I hope this helps. Strange flaw for it to have.
