I will trim 1/16th rubber from long edge and top corner to create a border and relieve some stress from that corner then hand cut it to fit. Looks 👍

I have seen some people use a thin piece of wire under the rubber then slide the tint in. Many customers would be pissed if they saw someone cutting there rubber seals.

Well I tinted for 25 years and never had one customer complaint 🤷♂️ you had to trim rubber back in the 90’s on most of your trucks didn’t have easy dot matrix borders for jagged cuts to be Hidden 😁old school tinters know what I’m talking about.

@@ngaoutdoors4157 You're right. But for the beginner, this is just one road to get them there. Trimming is definitely a thing, but I'm not going to advise a new person to start cutting rubber on the inside of a customers car. But yes. Done right, it's very clean.
