It's amazing that there was such a clear and clear image. Rindy Ross's youth is just like yesterday. She was so attractive. I'm tearing up. She is 21 years older than me. But I like her so much.

Yeah they're very tight and talented band. I had this album back in the 80s. I was pleasantly caught off guard by the subject matter of this song. There are so many songs out there where if you don't pay attention closely to the words you're not going to get what's going on. Harden My Heart, Find Another Fool, off the top of my head, great pop songs, all. An old roommate of mine in Northern California swears that he saw them in Oregon performing under the name, "Seafood Mama" before they changed it to Quarter Flash. I wonder how many copies of this album they would have sold under the name Seafood Mama 😂 Would appreciate it if anybody could either verify it or debunk it.

Yes the vocalist Randy Ross and songwriter/rhythm guitarist ,her husband Marv were in a band called Seafood Mama in the late 70s.The lead guitarist/occasional vocalist Jack Charles and the keyboardist were in another Oregon band...In 1980 they joined to form Quarterflash...long winded but yep the roommate was accurate about the name,I'm sure Geffen convinced them to change it $...

It's a shame that Rindy Ross, et. al. couldn't duplicate the success of their first album. I guess they caught lightning in a bottle much as The Cars did. Every song is a gem, and it's awesome to see a hot female singer blow the sax like Tom Scott.

I worked on this video later married a "Valerie" . Just one question Mr Hixson, what was the source for this? I see it on KZbin and I swear it was the tape we recorded off KOIN TV at jefferson High School to UMatic right dow to the impedance mismatched audio , audio hum and same dropouts. Must have got it from the Mighty Quinn, although he did not work on it , I think he ended up with that tape.
