This is Nuts! - Metal Detecting an Old Stagecoach Road Finds INSANE Coins & Record Breaking Relics!

Finding the right metal detecting location can sometimes be easy. If you see an old house it's a pretty safe bet that there will be some period stuff in the area. But other times you really have to work the good spots. We heard from some of the locals that there may have been a really old house "somewhere over yonder" as they point out to a what seemed like a never ending field. Pretty vague coordinates as you can imagine but hey, it's still a clue and a good starting point so off we all went. We found an old map that showed the partial remains of an old colonial stagecoach road so we were using that as a starting point. We all spread out and walked, and walked, and walked... following where we thought the old road may have been. After what seemed like miles we finally started seeing clues of what may have been the old house scattered on the ground; small pieces of red brick, broken pottery, and our machines were picking up rusty square nails so we knew we were getting close. Once we tightened up and zeroed in on the spot, the awesome finds were just everywhere! This is only part 1 of what becomes 3 trips back to this long lost location and each trip landed us better and better finds!

Ok Jay ya guys almost caught me . So a year and a half ago in October 2019 my son and i dig 20 sleigh bells in the same hole with 1 more in another part of the yard for a total of 21 for the day!! This hunt you guys had here in this video was an awsome days dig for you all . You all rocked it as you always do!! I had a trifecta bucket list day today here in NY . First dated Buff buckle first war if 1812 military button and first large cent!! It was an awsome day! Can't wait for your next vid!

I love how bright green old coins are comming out of the ground, then slowly darken over time. My 1864 2cent glowed bright as could be when I first dug it at an old stage coach stop here in Northern Michigan.

British treasure hunters using metal detectors regularly find 2000 year old Roman coins and these fellows are excited to find 200 year old British coins. 😀 Being from Kansas I would be tickled to find Civil War coins.

A sleigh wreck. Lots of nice sleigh bells. One piece that you found goes on the end of the single tree to hold the traces to the vehicle. The traces are a leather strap going from the breast plate or collar to the vehicle to pull it.
