Two things, Jason: First, thanks for clearing up the relationship between Rich and Lynn. I'm so embarrassed. Second, cairns are piles of rock that are carefully and deliberately placed to mark a trail or a boundary. Arbitrarily placing piles of rocks confuses that and can get people lost in places that don't have enough vegetation to show the trail. Third, Hi Rich's mom! And lastly, I love it when Jessica is on!

Jason you ask the ? Why hikers don’t like people stacking rocks on trail. Because it could lead hikers off course. Stacked rocks call Cairns are used as trail markers and is Blazes which is paint used to mark trees so as to stay on course during your hike.

Great Find Lynn, well done on your first copper. Jason your first Jess coin, I thought I saw the Indian head dress on the right top 2:13, but I know nothing about old US coins. I agree with initials JK on the cufflink. A cufflink has two of those with 2 links of jewelry chain. I have a gold one very similar that was my first wife's grandfather so period correct. Well done Jolly Jess on the fabulous Reale. In England we describe that sticky clay as 'Claggy', a great descriptor word! That was a good Hunt.
