The first time I heard Gnossienne No.1 was on a TV commercial for a can of beans! The piece intrigued me to find out its name and composer and became one of my all time favorites. Although it is usually performed as a piano solo, this version arranged for an ensemble is very sexy with gypsy undertones. Beautiful. Satie would be proud!
