We dont need to get rid of cubic term when we solve it using difference of squares If we want to multiply two quadratics in general form and compare coeffictients then getting rid of cubic term could be useful

I think we must refer to the comparative solution as is the case in solving the third degree equations, but in this case there are three variables with respect to the fourth degree equations, and four variables with respect to the fifth degree and so on ...

General method of solution involves some special functions like hypergeometric functions or Jacobi theta function

Why not beta = sqrt(k^2-r) ?? Much simpler algebra
