Sadly, the older we get the more friends we seem to lose, and far to often..It's great when like minded people join in celebration of a passed friend's life. LOVE the bell, it will be a great attention getter when all gather at your homestead. In olden days, the 'dinner bell' was to not only notify family out in the fields of an emergency, but to call them into to eat. Enjoy the possibilities, and THANK you for sharing.

Last year was the year of death for me. One best friend of 40+years, my oldest brother, both my dogs, a long time mentor and local businesses woman. Two cancer biopsies, one surgery, a cronic desease, and more. I claim peace love and service for 2025! Hi Ausia -you actually CAN release mice from sticky traps! Use vegetable oil! Just pour some on any part of the mouse that is stuck, & it immediately releases the mouse - but be sure you’re prepared beforehand! The worst part is the mouse gets a bit oily, but all the ones I’ve trapped & released were uninjured. Just some food for thought!

Sharing my fudge recipe because we cannot afford the markup. Can of (great value store brands) sweetened condensed milk and @ 3 cups milk chocolate chips, plus a half teaspoon of vanilla. Low heat, or double boiler method, stir until melted and shiny. (If DB method, don't get water in the chocolate). (Add cbd once it cools to temp but is still stirable.)

I was at Dome Rock riding my Mountain Bike down it a few weeks ago. I was there when they shut down I-10 for the fuel truck fire. That was wild. All the East Bound traffic was detoured down Dome Rock Road. We woke up and there were Semis and cars bumper to bumper on it.

there used to be a tripod, barbecue tee pee, like the one that guy was cooking, his hotdogs on out at deere run behind dome rock, I was out there when the guy who takes care of the place was upset that somebody stole the one just like that one.
