Was there last year, after a few days the RV Show crowd started rolling in and I rolled out. Too much traffic, too many campers all the way out to Dome Rock. Went to the river and spent the winter working my way down to Yuma, Lake Mitzry. If I wanted to camp among the masses I could go to any commercial campground anywhere, USA.

Poor people, poor spenders, campers, etc don't pay the bills. Businesses need spenders. Charity is nice but companies and businesses need some cash flow. I used to camp in Quartzite in the 1970s and 1980s. It was PACKED almost as far as you could see from the freeway. Nice RVs, clean, lots of snowbirds. It's degenerated into a dustbowl in the 1990s.

There are 10's of thousands of acres of free camping on BLM land surrounding the area. Pick a spot that suite you and hunker down.

First of all, in my opinion, of course...the notion that the BLM is going to go from $180 per 6 months to exceed $600 is highly unlikely. I haven't a clue where people are hearing that nonsense. I do agree that the LTVA's needs to expand a bit and provide more water and sewer dumps. The fact that Quartzite only has (1) LTVA that provides water/sewer clearly is not enough (unless someone tells it differently). Unfortunately, though...change is always inevitable. ALWAYS.
