@CavMom2 is correct - the gate guard job is sitting in your RV doing what you want BUT they do require that there are two humans there as it's a 24 hour stint.

@@StressLessCamping ok thanks for the information I will not be looking for a job when I first get there because I will make all that I’m allowed for this year before heading out there. One thing that I see is some of the jobs was in the fall but they don’t do the big tent until January. I guess you get the job in January and go to work in the following fall. But I know some of them was different times of the year. I will definitely be checking out the big tent.

I'm semi-retired. I work 20 hours a week as a cashier for a major fast food restaurant. I max out at 4 hours a day during the peak dining hour and would be interested in opportunities where I could see other parts of the country while enjoying the RV lifestyle. Most of the opportunities featured appear to require 40 plus hour and I'm just not up that that but I have 5 years of experience in fast food/cashiering. My store relies on me to train new employees and my specialty is customer engagement. I love interacting with my customers and do my best to insure that every customer has a top notch experience. Can anyone suggest opportunities that might be a good fit?
@StressLessCamping
@StressLessCamping Жыл бұрын
One of the options that intrigued me was working for Bowlin Travel Centers. My understanding is that there are opportunities in both fast food (They have Dairy Queen restaurants in their travel centers) and in the gift shop/gas stations. I have heard really good things about them as an employer/partner so that might be worth looking into.

On the gate gaurding do they accept solo workers do you have to be a couple
@StressLessCamping
@StressLessCamping 7 ай бұрын
Our understanding is that they're looking for couples but we could be mistaken. What we understand is that it's a 24/7 job so they figure one person can sleep while the other manages the gate.
