Excellent and to the point. 12 minutes...no fluff. Just enough info to show me how and allow me to look up what I want more details on. Thank you!

Quasar is so handy, ease usage, lots of components that makes super fast web development. But, why quasar isn't popular like other component libraries
@CodingWithJustin3 жыл бұрын
It is popular, but also opinionated. If you dont like Material UI, then you wouldn't want to use it.
@shutterradio3 жыл бұрын
If you need just a component library, I would say that Quasar would be an overhead. I'd rather go for Vuetify in such a case. But when you need a Hybrid app, it's the best tool I know!

Great tutorial! I like the storage solution, great approach! But I discovered one little problem. After creating a new note or editing a note, there is a warning in the developer console: „Form submission canceled because the form is not connected“. This can easily be fixed by adding a „.prevent“ modifier to submit:
@korigamik3 жыл бұрын
Bruh, you literally have the steps you need to do to fix that. Are you absolutely dumb??
@SuboptimalEng3 жыл бұрын
Takes a lot of time to undo and redo code for the tutorial, nice work 👏🏾

Thanx for another great video! I'm curious to know what do you think now about Quasar compared to Ionic?
@CodingWithJustin3 жыл бұрын
I really enjoy working with Quasar. The ability to generate a layout was really nice. I spend more time on this step then I would like to admit. Also, Quasar just felt more complete (etc. text-editor component), maybe because it they are focusing just on Vue while Ionic also supports Angular + React. I currently don't use ethier of them in production so I honestly couldn't say which is better.
@maskman48213 жыл бұрын
quasar is better and easier than ionic in my opinion !!!

Why do you create the component instead of just adding the styling in the main layout's tag?
@ilug51973 жыл бұрын
I don't know, but clone the repo and write down the Container tags to layout
@CodingWithJustin3 жыл бұрын
What if I don't want a page to be within a container? Or a different shaped container?

Please do a course on quasar framework frontend with connections to different back ends like ms-sql, my sql, etc
@_the_one_13 жыл бұрын
Hey Justin I really love the way you explain things. Do you have a course I could buy ? I am interested in a course with Vue 3, SSR (most importantly), unit tests (jest), cypress
@CodingWithJustin3 жыл бұрын
I currently dont have any course. I was thinking about puting some together but the amount of enegry it takes me to make ever a 10 min video is a lot. Instead, I was going to add a membership option to my youtube channel where Ill create some nice one-off membership only content. This would be more niche topics such as Vue 3 + SSR, etc. Would this be something you'd be interested in? (I also have a video on Vue 3 + Jest: kzbin.info/www/bejne/j6SWmpysoLibb8k)
@_the_one_13 жыл бұрын
@@CodingWithJustin Yes I have pretty much seen all your videos and every video it's nicely made and I like your style. For me a course with a single project covering all the hot topics such as SSR + Vue 3 + Jest + Cypress (optional) would be something awesome and I think it won't take too much time if you first create the project and then just teach how you did it. Probably I am wrong though.
