Nice Baby Ace Martt ... my Baby Ace that I had years ago also had the sharp leading edge. The Ace I have now has both upper and lower leading edge covered in aluminum with out the sharpe edge. Fly's the same as the old one. They are fun airplanes.

Nothing beats a Baby Ace for fun. My dad started building a D model in the early '60's. It flew in 1977 and provided us with much fun till he sold it in 1985. My last adventure was delivering it from Kansas City to Bristol,TN. I follow the facebook page and would love to build one but not sure my arthritis would allow me to climb in and out. You said it in the video, no reason to sell it because it won't make you rich but you would be giving up one of the funnest flying toys imaginable. Last winter I built a set of wing ribs off my dad's original rib jig, not giving up yet.

Boy for now leaving the ground you sure had my attention all the way through the video. If they had new Baby Ace showrooms this would be the perfect sales video! Now I want one.

hey, Martt, Sweet ace. saw it at Osh. Paul P. was a big advocate for an anti-drag cable between the struts to go in conjunction with the existing drag-wire from the original design. I'm not sure his reasoning but we added one to our's one winter on his recommendation. lets go flying sometime. I'm near KRFD.

I'm actually flying from Indiana over to Cottonwood Saturday morning in the Baby Ace to visit a friend, and heading back Sunday morning.
