I've got over 21k on my original Quattrini 210, The motor was scratch built by Trevor at Beverley Lambretta Engine Rebuilds in August 2019. It's been totally reliable, and outstanding fun to ride. Not a cheap build, but for me, worth every smile.

Lovely looking engine and excellent performance figures. Well done Dan, I'm saving my penny's already.

Not a cheap engine though at that spec so good that Dan discussed the other options

I have a similar setup, you didn't mention the rod length. I used the 60x115 crank which Darrell recommended, putting my timing in a good place and allowing the spigot lip to still function. Then just cleaned up the ports, no work on the case. I used the Vape race with the 30phbh and exboxst. TV175 gearbox with standard 15x46 and standard clutch with good plates in it. It was a test of how low I could keep the cost. I rode 400 mile break in with that setup, without any issue except it would pull out of gear due to weak selector spring. When I upgraded the spring, I went mad and replaced a damaged mag housing with a casa cooler and a powermaster cush clutch and sidecase to make a high spec engine, I was willing to buy a five speed but didnt, the TV175 (jet200) box is perfect and going to five speed is pointless to me on this engine. It has power all the way, I can stay in 4th from 20 to 80mph on my GPS. I posted a video riding with a group and I can chug along with the group and hardly change gear, it has torque and power everywhere. If I go through the gears to have a little race nothing so far can keep up.

Sounds like a very similar experience to our engine, they are great little units... giant killers! lol. Which plates and springs did you use in the original clutch setup?
@dragoonpvw2 жыл бұрын
@@drunkmunkey6969 I just used BGM standard 4 plates (BGM8004) , with original springs. No slippage but I do ride smooth and the constant torque in this engine helps that. I also still have the reasonably inexpensive Tameni 115x60 crank in there and no issues yet. Using the 115 gave me, thinnest supplied gasket and no packer needed , squish was dead on 1.5. From what I remember, Exhaust 187.13, transfer 130.6. Blowdown 28.24. Careful building and though no work on cases, my kit needed a lot of work to make it perfect,. I was interested which length rod you used as most go with 116, but Darrel recommended 115. No dyno's for scooters over here in Florida so I was guessing I am close to you in power. Anyone with a standard TV175 could slap this kit (TV210 see, made for that gearing), with a cheap phbh30 and exbox st and be up there with the best in the land. Good ignition probably. I wouldn't swap standard TV gearing for anything. I am a shortarse though and weigh 10 1/2 to 11 stone . I have ridden twos up and not much change except gas consumption.

Definitely it will be the engine under my next project, a 150 LI frame breather. I'm interested in the "saving money" configuration. I have already bought a 150 LI engine with pacemaker gears to put on it.

Make sure you use the right gears,early pacemaker 3rd gear would break teeth on tuned scooters.racers wouldn't touch them.

Hi Dan great video again.. would the avanti ex box st work with the casa ss 200? running an ADS 5 race pipe at the moment but planning a change

Hi Dan, I know all dynos differ a bit. I ran my matched m210 with 58 Cosmoto crank at 25hp on rogers dyno in Littlehampton. No one seems to be running the excellent Gori m210 exhaust? What jetting needle and atomiser did you have in this carb? Cheers

With the longer stroke isn't the port timing off? With transfers and exhaust port being a longer duration you're getting less blowdown?
