2020 was a really difficult year for the choral fraternity, and we were also not spared from that difficulty. We had to find creative ways of engaging as a choir and with others in our industry. The year left us in a challenging position which threatened our livelihood as a choir. Because we really missed sing and wearing our uniform, we decided to dig into our archive recordings and put together this virtual video. It reminded us of why we love singing. We need your support in helping to keep us on stage. Contact us on quavavocal@gmail.com to find out how you can help.
Here is our performance of Thina Sizwe, a South African apartheid struggle song arranged by Thabo Matshego, conducted by Sabelo Mthembu. We hope you enjoy it.
