Can we talk about how Quazies went above and beyond with making the Red and Blu teams have different dynamics, but in a way that stays true to the characters? Like, with the Scouts, both keep their typical cocky attitudes, while also being different in their own ways that fits, like how Red Scout is much more attentive and openly loving how his mother raised him (this can also be seen with his warmer colors in his design) while Blu Scout is more distant and lets Blootis do mostly whatever like how Spy probably would have raised him (this can be seen with the cooler colors used in his palette, the general bulkiness of his design compared to Red Scout, kinda showing how partly raising himself affected his physical character). Or how both Medics keep their general "insane doctor" personality, but with Blu Medic seeming more like a phantom in appearance (with the paler pallete and robotic movements), adding to the unsettling, almost inhuman vibe to him, while Red Medic is more fluid and bold (communicating regularly, showing a spectrum of emotions that feel natural, unlike how with Blu Medic, it feels almost like an alien trying to mimic a human's facial expressions). I could keep going, but we'd be here forever so in short, I am ordering my Pootis plush as we speak.

@whisper9539 Well, since you asked: Pootis/Blootis: Pootis is physically smaller and has much bigger and rounded eyes, typically associated with a younger, friendlier, and more childish character. He is decked out in warm reds and browns, adding to his inviting and open personality. Being without many layers and his small size, he is seen as more vulnerable and in need of nurturing, since he grew up being very nurtured by Red Scout. This is a direct reflection of how Red Scout was probably raised, and thus, raised him. Blootis is physically bigger (duh) and wears more bulky clothing with closed eyes, something you see with more strong and intimidating characters. Like Pootis, he is still caring, it just doesn't ooze out of him like it does with Pootis. Being a mirror of how Blu Scout was raised, and thus, raised him, he's learned to be more independent and to not need as much to be happy. His more muted color pallete and yellow feathers make him stand out less, since he needs less attention to function. Since he doesn't need as much attention, he has to resort to more bold ways to get it, like biting Blu Scout. He's grown up with tough love, but it was still genuine love, and thus, mantains the round, friendly body Pootis has. His physical and mental toughness was built from the way he was raised, and thus, when he sees Pootis who does not have this toughness, he takes on an older sibling position, much like how Blu Scout must have when he was first introduced to the family. Heavy: Although, we don't see much of Heavy, here's what I've found. Red Heavy is much more of an older brother/father figure. It lines up with the fact that he cares for his family and would do anything for them. He had to step up as the "man of the house" for lack of better words at a young age after his father passed, and thus, is willing to step up for others in that position when needed. This is displayed when he teaches Pootis how to make sandviches and makes sure that he's fed and everything. Blu Heavy, on the other hand, seems almost confused when seeing Pootis, as if interacting with children is foreign to him. After these moments of confusion, he expresses a more open and friendly attitude towards Pootis. Where Red Heavy hesitates to be so warm, having grown up in a harsh enviorment (due to the Gulags and all), Blu Heavy welcomes it. He probably never had the responsibility Red Heavy had when caring for his family like a father would, and thus, never burdened with the consequences of it (such as being forced to push yourself aside and be strong to make tough decisions nobody else wants to at a young age). Soldier: Red Soldier seems more concerned about military code and the glory of America than anything else. He is the definition of patriotism and is willing to go the distance and then some to defend his homeland. Blu Soldeir, on the other hand, doesn't seem to care much at all about his surroundings, let alone America all too much. We see him in his room, which is a filthy pigsty, laying in an assortment of dirty clothes and miscellaneous pillows, a bottle of booze by his side, and his infamous rocket launcher hung up on his damaged walls. He cares not about being gentle on things or about cleaning up after himself, probably a learned behavior and/or a coping mechanism from childhood. I only assume he has issues from the (assumed military) metals on his wall and the fact the only photos showing an attachment to any people is Demoman and Demoman alone. When we see him actually suited up, he appears to have sharp teeth, an artistic choice, but also shows he tends to act more sporatic like an animal, as seen when he carelessly fires his rocket launcher in the air. I love how BLU are just the opposites of RED's regular personalities: -Medic is cold and emotionless -Demo is somehow sober -Spy acknowledges Scout as his son -Engi is actually compassionate towards the team -Scout likes dudes -Soldier is extremely lazy -Heavy is kinder -Pyro is pretty much the same. -Sniper is more relaxed.

It has been a VERY long time since I've seen anyone accurately capture Pyro's off-beat blend of "child-like" and "terrifying." It's definitely a tricky character to portray, and yet you always do them justice! Most folks either tend to go full whimsy or full axe-murderer, but rarely both.

I really, really like how each team is different from each other. The only thing that they share is how they look (which isn't by a whole lot), but in general it's just two big families against each others. I know this is like an extremely wholesome hand-drawn story, but the characters themselves have been shown in such a unique way it's incredible. And the story is genuinely really nice, too.

So I did think that Blue Medic was blind from the faded pupils, but his entire demeanor being so... expressionless, and moving so stiffly, is what makes it seem like a thousand yard stare where he just sees into the void of space and time as people are saying. On one hand, a blind doctor who just stares at nothing because he sees nothing and is distant and emotionless because of how the entire blue team is this way, is unique and I love it, very character defining, but the hilarity of the concept of him just *choosing* to stare wide eyed at everyone and no one with no expression, moving robotically (while witnessing the entire universe beyond behind those dead eyes) is far funnier to me. So unsettling. 😂 Anyway. I almost cried. This whole thing is great I love both teams so much in their own ways and the personality you gave each of them and... just this ❤

Legit I love seeing how much the animation has advanced since it's inception. Like, the continuity has been maintained, with a fun and entertaining plot, but the WAY it's being told has developed and evolved into something so much greater. I love how the two Teams are distinct through not just color coding, but actual personality shown through body language and expression, and how the whole of the little world they live in has grown into it's own reality. It's so impressive and interesting and it brings the biggest smile to my face. :D

The Lil' Pootis series makes you think "Just one episode" and then you watch the entire thing, its so cute and I love it. Better then most real TV shows, I've revisited the series so many times and im glad season 2 is finally here! I love how the characters are portrayed, and how the Pootis charm and effect anyone, even Medi-Medes! 10/10 best non-vocal animated series ever

To top it off, his body was in a giant refrigerator, one of those that would only be found in butcher shops or in houses with that type of special refrigerator, his body suffered from the effects of freezing for so long (despite the fact that Blue Spy is clearly more for winter weather, the human body has limits)... and his head was literally CLOSE TO THE PYRO MOST OF THE TIME. And that Red Team's refrigerator wasn't cold enough to keep Blue Spy at a normal temperature either, who, as I already mentioned, is noticeably more accustomed to freezing weather.

I'm proud to admit I predicted the Red Pootis-Blue Spy trade, but I was not prepared for how tense it would be. For a second I thought that Blue Scout would just throw the trade idea to the wind and go ballistic on Red Scout. I'm glad that didn't happen! And now everyone is back home. Wonderful animation. I love this series. 🐥 Edit: I also love how everyone looks at Medic when the head is mentioned, and the expression on his face. They're not mad, just disappointed.

This was truly an amazing episode! I kinda liked Blu team's dynamic. Colder environment, warmer clothes (I am a fan of winter cosmetics if I do say so myself) and I'm glad that Blu team isn't portrayed as the antagonist because both teams are good... er... bad... _unique_ in their own way (if I recall team neighborhood does the same thing which I like, both teams being protagonists). To be honest I may have a little bias towards blu but not because I wanna be quirky or anything.... and I'm honestly quite happy blu spy has been reunited with his team, this was a very emotional episode overall however. I honestly really like red Pyro in this series and how medimedes has warmed up a bit. Blootis was also amazing. Hope they can arrange some play dates sometimes, I'm sure they still have a lot to learn from each other! The quality also improved, as it does from episode to episode. From the way you worded it I sure am excited for Poot's future shenanigans!

What a fantastic video to relax to on the weekend. As a long term Valve fan myself, I can confidently confirm that you are without a doubt a very talented individual and a fine example of what keeps the spirit of TF2's undying community forever alive. This was my favourite episode because of how we got to meet the Blu team and witness how their personalities differ! Alternate personalities of clone characters, a concept that Valve rarely ever covered was creatively brought to life by your works and that is something I truly cherish about this series. If my wallet wasn't so empty, I would without a doubt buy a Lil' Pootis to support your channel because I sincerely hope to witness more treasure such as this video! This is instantly up in my favourites list alongside Emesis Blue.
