Hey Quazii! Thanks for the breakdown. One thing I do as a Prot Warrior on the ring trash is make sure of 2 things - Icy Binding NEVER goes off, and I prioritize stunning/fearing every single piercing shards cast. Rotating stormbolt, shockwave, fear, shield charge - you can stunlock those mobs (often 2) completely solo. If you do this as the tank - the ring trash becomes 1000% easier for your group. Looking forward to the rest of you M+ deep dives.

One more tip. Spell reflect is extremely powerful on the hateful strike on first boss. Then on second boss I’ll do reflect->wall->reflect for the series of arcane slashes between add phases. Greatly reduces that incoming magic damage.

You can spell reflect the Infused Strike on first boss as a warrior ^^

After being bored of DPS I decided to switch it up and reroll a prot paladin, your guides have given me insight into wow that I never knew I would obtain. great video. just wanted to say there was 2 things you can also do that you didnt say. 1. for the first boss you can spell reflect the tank hit. 2. you can LoS the shoulder charge from the breakers but its not needed

Thx for the guide. Learnt few tips here and confirmed others. Me personaly as a tank on first boss I figure out to take him out from middle after trees are spawned and aim cone from outside to middle/cimcurference of the circle. I find it much more consistent in breaking as many as possible that way

I love these Master class videos, they help a lot with all specs, especially tanking. Can you do a Ruby? That second boss trucks on tyrannical, and i feel like minor defenses wont help on higher keys, and wont have a major up every time she uses Searing Blows

You can stop saplings sappy burst cast with aoe stops btw! I love using blindling light as pally and not worrying about moving.

As always thanks for the tips! Lets see at what key level (if ever) activating mobs with whelps will become a thing to time the key. Also, just wondering, didn't Blizz fix the other spells casts getting desynced for Telash if someone uses aggro drop to get rid of Icy Devastator? I just doubled checked for 4th Jan hotfixes and it says this. "Fixed an issue where using an immunity on Icy Devastator would cause the next Frost Bomb to happen sooner."

I do the double pull in the beginning every time. Every once in a while a dps will die. I do a triple pull there if I feel the dps’ damage is high enough. I’m sure most people watching this channel do the same cause we’re all GIGACHADS here 💪🏻 Great vid as always!

I always just pull 2nd ring in one pull and just side step the frontals. Can feel a little chaotic but it's a lot easier than it sounds, only icy bindings to interrupts and tank can solo interrupt it.

that double elemental pull in the first ring is deceptively rough in pugs since there's no kick or stop coordination. it makes it worse that i HAVE to save my kick for icy bindings

U can Kip second Ring by jumping into boss with slow Fall, gliding etc (can rezz your mates that dont have this abilitys)

The First boss here gives me huge pains as tank. I understand what I should do, but not how to do it. The spawn of trees is random, and especially the one in the center, if the spawn point is inconvenient, makes it impossible to position the bastard ideally. Also, the trees hurt TOO MUCH if you're too close. And the boss himself just hits like a truck while you are waiting for him to do the cone. All the while you can't move, you're sandwiched between the boss and the tree, the damage is crazy. If that weren't enough to smash you - which it is - there's the blue shit from the slimes, right there -- and you can't move an inch, cause you have to wait for DBM to announce 'Shockwave!'. Here, you're hardly taking any damage at all, I don't know how this is the same version of the same fight!

tbh maybe in lower keys people do first pull in dungeon like he did, but normally people pull the entire first room and lust it, on tyrannical and fortified

I really hope they change the behavior of those ice puddles start doing damage after 1 sec of landing rather than right off the bat. Sometimes latency alone can be an issue with something like this where even if you are doing the jump and moving perfectly on your screen, you've already taken a hit or two at the server side. These type of mechanics should be, if you don't do it then you die, rather than "you gonna get hit hard regardless of how quick you move and actually aren't standing in fire". 🙃🙃🤪🤪

I was also curious if you know how to enable coloring of the name over my parties heads to their class. Open world, I see class colors, etc... However when I am in an instance, It's just that blue/grey color. I would just like to see class color instead. Thanks.

wait how do you actually dodge the cone aoe from the 1st boss? the one that destroys the trees. I've even went to normal dung to double-check it, and it just tracks you wherever you go, so you have to take huge dmg from that. On your video he just targets the earth and you run out of the path on the earth, wtf? Am I missing something?

Hey everyone, unsure if anyone will see this, but please respond if you do. I'm watching this VOD footage because I was doing the final boss and never noticed the circle before the orbs would spawn. Has anyone else had this issue. I was in a party with 4 other people, we're all guldies, and all of us were confused as to the mechanic of how the orbs spawn. We were like, so they just spawn instantly and that's it? I asked around and some people are saying I just tunneled. But as the healer in this fight... there's not much to tunnel on. My dps rotation is 3 buttons (max, a lot of the time, it's just 2). I would've noticed those circles that are very clear and distinct in this video. Has anyone else encountered this bug?

Its unfortunate you can't skip the first ring without shenanigans and also because of count. The first ring is the real scary part, the 2nd ring is super easy. I'd give anything for a way to skip all Crystal Fury pulls. Those mobs are overtuned as hell and also don't belong in a world where the tank can get thundering. But even if you do skip the 1st ring with jump down techniques etc, the only other count to get is MORE CRYSTAL FURY MOBS (and as far as I know the only way to skip the 1st ring is with flying classes but i'm not 100% on that)

Greywing isn't a healer check in my opinion, it's a brain check. On 18-19+ you can only take 1 tick on Tyrannical or else you die, and that's not the healers fault. The only healer check here is when the bombs come right before the big AoE, here the healer must quickly get everyone to max hp, the rest of the fight is your own fault if you die.
