Italian DJs Qubiko and Denis Ago team up on their latest Toolroom Trax release ‘Ophelia’, blending House and Electro influences together to create a club ready hit. Fans of Toolroom would have already heard Qubiko’s unique sound on their ‘House Party Vol. 5’ and ‘TOO15OOM’ anniversary compilation, whilst Denis Ago makes his debut on the imprint, bringing a minimal edge to the record.
The pair keep it simple on ‘Ophelia’, maintaining a Minimal Tech House vibe throughout with a warped arpeggiator repeating and a pulsing bass you can feel in your chest. Snappy percussive hits echo out into the distance whilst the seductive vocals tie the track together. This is a record that will keep you dancing late into the night, Qubiko and Denis Ago have pulled together one hell of a club banger. ‘Ophelia’ is 100% a hands in the air record and one you’ll hear at open air parties and underground raves everywhere this summer!
