I couldnt bend my elbow all the aay due to an injury, but doing boxing straightened it out perfectly, probably because im so fond of throwing jabs.

If you have naturally wide hips you can use the pocket of bone in the outer ear of your hip bones and connect it to your elbow, otherwise you really have to strengthen your lower abs to give you stability. It’s probably better to learn using your abs because it’s more versatile but when I was a bboy I had the right bone structure for easy mode it wasn’t until much later when it wouldn’t work for certain tricks I learned to support myself with my stomach. I am more referring to a lot of the lower planted positions then the raised on he demos at the beginning which obviously is too separate from your hip and nearly up at your ribs.

Great video. Wondering if you have suggestions on exercises to strengthen one's wrists. When I try this on my right side my right wrist hurts--the outer side of the wrist when you are looking down on the tops of one's hands. It is not a problem with the left. Perhaps it was from an old cycling injury. Never-the-less any specific stretches or strengthening exercises would be appreciated. Thank you!

Great video mate- really well put well together and thank you. My only small gripe is the background music - Dubstep!!! are you sure? It is like 20 years old and the only people who enjoy Dubstep these days are known as SQUARES :)
