Yes, that's BM. However, they employed an additional musician before '84. They used Morgan Fisher (European Tour) and Fred Mandel (rest of the world) on the Hot Space tour in '82.

It's Brian, obviously, remember the original clip with May on synth. Regarging extra live musician, you can hear Brian told in Montreal blu ray live that they never used exta musician(Spike Edney) till '84. Mack never played live with Queen as far as i know.
