my earliest memories of music are all queen. dancing in the kitchen to bohemian rhapsody, listening to another one bites the dust on the way to swimming- and this song becoming my favourite. it was my first ever favourite song. i would listen to in on repeat on my little pink mp3 player. i was around five years old at the time. when lockdown started, i was 11 years old and i had never felt more lonely in my life. i had lost me mp4 player, so i had to use my brother's- which he never used. since he had different songs than i did, i scrolled down and found queen. despite having not listened to the songs for six years, i still remembered all the words. the obsession grew from there, much to my father's delight. queen made me feel like i wasnt alone anymore. each of them helped me in their own way. they all mean so much to me and i would be a very different person today without them. i turn fifteen in less than two hours. i wanted this to be the last song and the last video i watched as a fourteen year old. sentimental, i know, but thats who i am. i owe my life to queen. i love them so much. and i guess i wrote this to let everyone know. happy early birthday to me!
