Queen not only got lucky finding Adam because of the vocals and theatricality, but also he has a maturity that makes him a good fit for Brian and Roger. Being on the road as much as they are would have been tough if he were some wild, hard drinking party animal, which many rock and rollers his age are. Adam has a good head on his shoulders and knows a golden opportunity when he see's it, they all seem to be a perfect fit.

Now remember the Adam Lambert "For Your Entertainment" AMA's 2009 Live performance where Adam kisses his male bass player. The Super Bowl Halftime show doesn't like surprises and I doubt they want to risk anything Adam might do. But the halftime shows have really sucked from years. Even Maroon 5, who I love, couldn't escape a bad show status.

I've see Queen and Adam concerts twice and my God they are amazing together Adam Lambert voice takes us to another universe and I still not comeback ,if they come to Porrugal for the third time I will see them again,the first concert of them I come wed my husband ,daughter, and my sister,the second concert it was me my husband hes brother my two sisters my 4 nieces and my grandson, sow as you see my family is a great Queen and Adam fan and we can't wait to see them again.

I was lucky enough to see this concert live (tickets were hard to come by and pretty expensive) and it was the best show I have EVER seen! Bear in mind, I have been lucky enough to see many concerts in my lifetime. Adam walked a line that is very tricky, paying tribute to one of the greatest artists in a generation, and taking nothing from him... while making the music his own. I was enthralled!

Saw the first show on 9/1/18. It was FANTASTIC ! Roger's drum and Brian's guitar still rock! Adam was amazing as usual. What a show man! They are in fact a great match with great chemistry . I want to see it again. You won't be disappointed even if you are not a Queen fan. Best show in LV!

Thanks to music trading, we’re likely to NEVER see a flood of great bands ever again. Since people generally don’t buy records/CDs any more, there’s no money in sales so there’s no motivation for new bands. Live concerts is how the great bands of the past make their money now.

He was one of the firsts male solo acts to have this phenomenon ... people who actually want to see him live, because his performances are something to behold... (New) pop music is not so good live, you're in a party with a dj or something... That's why sales were important before, with streaming sales mean nothing financially for artists, but live shows do.... So now everyone has to up their game for live shows... Adam came on the scene exactly during this morphing and he's special because he sounds live even better than recordings... Strictly Old established acts are attracting people because of their reputation mainly, as far as quality of performances goes, a lot of things can be said and not all very nice...

I’m waiting for record companies to start asking for money from live shows. The money that’s made off CD’s or paid for music downloads is split into many different places. Record Label 30% Retailers 30% Songwriter 4.5% Producer 3% Singer/Band 7% The rest goes to the studio time, promotion, manufacturing & distribution of CD’s. If purchase a $10 CD then the singer or band get about 7 cents or 11.5 cents if they wrote the song, per CD. You can’t live the rock star life on that. If you sold a million copies then you make $70,000 if you’re a band then you have to divide it up between the band members. So if you don’t tour then you might as well find a 8-5 job. I don’t buy CD’s. I download the songs I like off a album. They cost about $1.29 to $1.99 a song. Touring is where bands and singers make their money. Even then there are expenses that come out of ticket sales & merchandise sales. So they tour their asses off. But Roger, Brian, John & Freddie’s estate are making a fortune off touring. See John & Freddie’s estate get a cut. Because they are using “Queen” name & songs. Not sure how Adam gets paid but I bet they are generous with him.

The response from the public was mind-blowing. 20 minutes that made history for the last 5-6 years. Reminds you of something?!
