Kaduna, Nigeria.
At Kaduna, capital of Northern Nigeria, thousands of tribesmen welcome the Queen with a Royal Durbar - perhaps the most exotically spectacular event she has yet seen. LV. Nigerian horsemen coming along road and assembling for the Queen's drive past. SCU. Pan, Nigerian horseman. SV. Pan, more people arriving. SV. Three horsemen waiting for the arrival. SCU. Two horsemen banging drums, & CU. SCU. Group of horsemen. LV. Group of horsemen, some blowing 8 foot long trumpets. SV. Horseman blowing another King of trumpet. GV. Roadway with horsemen lined up on either side with the Queen Elizabeth II and Duke of Edinburgh driving past in sports Rolls Royce. Pan to back view as car drives past. GV. Horsemen following down roadway after Queen has passed. GV. Kaduna Durbar Arena. LV. Nigerian Chief on horse with large sunshade waiting for Queen's arrival. SCU. Group of Nigerians waiting, another Nigerian Chief in the centre. CU. Nigerian Chief. LV. Another group waiting. CU. A tribal warrior. LV. Royal car driving past Nigerians and Chiefs on route for the Arena, pan to back view. CU. Another warrior. GV. Queen and Prince Philip arriving in their car. SCU. Dancers moving past whirling tails from their rear followed by men beating drums. CU. Pan two warriors dressed overall in straw & material doing a samba like shuffle. SV. Group of warriors dancing towards camera dressed all in straw with black pointed headgear. LV. Chief on horse followed by group on foot playing drums and 8 foot trumpets. SCU. Queen and Duke on dais watching. LV. Large group of Nigerian chiefs some wearing pot like hats and carrying kettles marching towards. CU. Pan man past on horseback wearing large kind of turban. SCU. Great and brilliant display of culture. I clicked "dislike" for the following reasons: 1: The narrator's use of contemptuous words to describe a genuine and brilliant culture; such words as "primitive", "strange", "backwards," etc. 2) The British did not deserve such welcome as they obviously held the people in contempt.

@@djblackjackwannabedeji1194 Yes I do I ride in the Durbar. Read my comment in the section for greater understanding. You can search Kano Durbar 2022. The 2023 one should be uploaded soon.

@@djblackjackwannabedeji1194 Hausa Tribe Fulani tribe Kanem borno Jukun Gwarri Igedde Idoma Tiv, Yoruba from Kwara(different to southern yoruba) There are 45 more tribes not mentioned

They travelled to the Durbar not the Queen. The Queen visited that Durbar. The Emirs from all the Hausa states ride to greet the Sultan of Sokoto. The others come from Kwararafa confederacy. They are all warrior tribes and this ceremony is centuries old. I'm from one of those clans. We where under Indirect rule and not fully colonised. That charge is called charging the devil. It is done yearly.

@@oceejekwam6829 King Charles has visited the Kano Durbar in the past. The ceremony would be slightly different due to certain changes to the modern procession. The British Monarchy is still respected.
