Looks like 120 feet of blood, sweat and tears. Like you said, "Jesus Christ!" Correct. Thanks for all the cool videos. Good inspiration for climbers like me who are just starting to lean into the harder stuff!

That foot behind the rope from 1:40~1:55. I've backed off from that spot a few times cause I'm not willing to try moves with left foot up there. Feels like a different bolt placement could solve that problem very easily.

Yeah, I noticed that and was thinking the same thing. I feel like there have been a couple gnarly falls there cause of that.

To me it doesn’t look like his foot is behind the rope, it’s under it. That’s where your leg should be on a traverse if the rope is under the leg the heel will hook the rope. Where as being under the rope your leg will fall out and have no way to catch the rope.

@@EliBucher have you been on the route Elijah? I have. It was hard to place the foot such that there wasn't a risk of the heeling being behind the rope before or after you move right. My solution was to put a DMM revolver higher up on the chain, to control the rope further up and left. That said, most people I've seen climb it don't use it.

Spring through fall are when conditions are best. Winters are pretty rainy. The latest edition of Squamish Select has the paradise valley area in it.

I think you'd have a tough time getting on this route (or any seepy or sheltered route) in Squamish between beginning/mid November to mid-end February. Obviously a week or so of dry weather isn't unheard of, but it's not common.

Just an update if you're actually frothing, both lines seep pretty badly in the spring (the upper section) The lines were dry for some of april, and most of May. You can do the end with some wetness on the flake, but it would be mega smearing your way through the wetness to glorytown
