Used to listen to Taj Mahal way back in the day, early 70s. Last piece I did was Follow the Drinking Gourd. Of course, he didn't write that. But, he recorded it with Linda Tillery, Eric Bibb and the Cultural Heritage Choir. I think the album was called Tailfeather. I don't wish to share the circumstances that brought us to play that song. Only that I am a proud American student of History. Once again, youse ladies have crushed it. Fresh and clear like crystal. Downright intoxicating in a natural sort of a way. My enkephalins and endorphins start to fire when I see and hear you boat. I felt the spirit of that art. Thank you.
