Let me start by saying this series was the BEST of all the Bridgerton seasons. It had more depth and substance. Chronicling the life of young King George and Queen Charlotte was fascinating to watch. New relationship, new marriage, new to parenthhood, new to being King and Queen within the British Empire, dealing with secrets and isolation. All the while connecting on a level seldom seen by royals. They loved each other truly and tragically as well. George's mental affliction was hard on Charlotte, but she stuck in there and became his rock. I was moved to tears in episode 6, last scene where the younger and older George and Charlotte came together, showing pure raw love and him saying, "you didn't go over the wall!" Man, I was teary eyed at this point. 😢 That last scene brought it home for me! Job Well Done by the entire cast and crew!!!👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👍🏽👍🏽💯💯❤️❤️❤️

I wonder if Shonda knew Armesa's family connectiveness to her role? This is so profound now I will watch a 3rd time to focus on Lady Danbury in light of this real information.

So part of why this series hit me so hard is because I have an immune disorder that has heavy neurological symptoms (confusion, either focus on one thing or nothing because everything always compounds until it’s just noise, stuttering, twitching, nerve pain to the point I get what looks like a rash, muscle weakness, etc.) & seeing King George coping with a partially broken body and/or mind but still having the expectations of a perfectly healthy person & then also him thinking it’s too much for someone else to deal with mirrors my own struggles. So this point either speaks to the actor’s own understanding/research or his humility: him saying that acting in those moments was helped by the people around him, like simply seeing their expression? My family in particular are my anchors, where just watching them or focusing on their voice helps me either get myself out of the episode OR find an anchor in the chaos to make you feel that much safer. (Here’s to hoping I eventually find my Charlotte lol)

This cast is incredible. They really know their characters and can articulate, truly, what it means to be in their shoes. Shonda and Tom have a great knack for finding these gems of actors- a lot of them, this being their first big role as new signs or out of drama schools, and showing us how talented they are. I admit, sometimes I get so used to the same faces in TV shows and movies that things like this are SO refreshing. They're all so humble, gracious and clearly get along, hence the show having amazing chemistry and humility. Ive watched the show 4 times and I really hope for a season 2 or at least flash back scenes, in the main series where we get to see them all again.

This interviewer, WOW!!! Preparation is her surname. She has brilliantly conducted the interview, made clever and in-depth questions and knew exactly what she was talking about. I am in awe, with her and with this extraordinary cast and director (Tom Verica). Queen Charlotte is beyond perfection.

This is the best interview I've watched of Queen Charlotte. I'll be honest, I didn't know what to expect with this story & was thoroughly captivated, into in a way I hadn't been in Bridgerton. I don't want to compare because they're wonderfully independent but there's something about Queen Charlotte that grabs me. I've watched it twice in 8 days & don't know how many more times I'll watch QC again. This is something I've NEVER done. Well done, you incredible actors! I love you all.

Shonda is a genius! How powerful for people, especially young Black girls, to see someone like her and her ability to write and tell stories, it opens the gates of perception and how these young people will confidently perceive themselves and change our society. Honestly I am in awe with Shonda’s work on elevating Julia Quinn’s stories to this compelling, diverse and brilliant storytelling because Queen Charlotte’s character is totally Shonda’s vision (she doesn’t exist in the books) and with the Bridgerton universe we know now we can certainly say that the show would be less engaging and special if we didn’t have Shonda’s art and craft and her ability to understand what kind of stories need to be tell.
