XD you realize there's a light pillow underneath (and the hair was usually powedered) and the hair is just held in place by the natural oils + pig fat (and cloves to keep the bugs away) With usually only minimal extensions (hair curls and some straps to hide separation of the hairline). And the wigs are usually similar. It's not that much heavier than say... a pillow. (Although the books for poise trick seen in movies is another factor. Middle and lower classes wore their natural hair, just powdered and pomaded. (Their haircare routine was usually combing their hair out and reapplying pomade and powder in the mornings. This kept the hair clean and bug free. They also utilized a brandy+pigment mixture called Rouge (from the color) for lips and cheeks. (The gowns she wears also have huge pockets which help make the huge hip shapes) Rump padding was also sometimes included. But the court gowns were inaccurate only because the accurate regency court gowns were even more ridiculous than the fainting featherington.

Yes!! 😫😫 She had a very interesting life, with lots of sadness and drama, at least, enough to make a moving plot: Like when she came to England and her husband didn't like her at first, but they fell in love anyway because she never gave up on him. Then, he started going "mad" and Charlotte felt desperate to help the husband she adored but seeing him in that state depressed her and with all the pain of her heart, she finally had to gave up on him. They can also make tons of episodes developing the dynamic between her, her husband and their children, which was... Difficult, especially with the Prince of Wales, or the history of Buckingham Palace. The rumours, the objections, the love, endless seasons can be done about Charlotte's life!
