Queen Nanny, a Black Jamaican national heroine, was born in West Africa. Certain Jamaican words, such as "nyam" as in "nyam food" and "awo" are African words. Jamaica is a piece of Africa. We must bear in mind Earth was one place originally.
@ashleyogarro26862 күн бұрын
Nyam is not Jamaican....it is also used in the Islands,like many words Jamaicans use...The ppl on Montserrat talk exactly like the Jamaican ,with a few of our own words...Its called Irish Brogue,and Jamaicans Speaks it too..Remember we were expelled from Europe /Ireland/Scotland/Wales,Spain,Portugal and France to name a Few...this was after we Ruled Europe from 711 to 1492,and they(Europeans)followed us under the guise of Columbus discovery...Jamaica was not the only island whose ppl did not came on the Slave ships....Every Sirname and Village on my Island of Montserrat is of an Irish Back ground,and the real story of most of the Islands ppl is going back to Europe ....
@karastamusecrecords2 күн бұрын
@ashleyogarro2686 Re-read all that I wrote, please, and keep in mind it's in response to this interview part where interviewer asked our sister Queen Ifrica if Jamaicans are Africans. The word "nyam" as in "nyam food" is an AFRICAN word that is a JAMAICAN word. Just like the word "awo".
@karastamusecrecords2 күн бұрын
@ashleyogarro2686 ALL of our melanated ppl in our Caribbean Islands, so-called "West Indians" are the same people essentially. Yet, again, in response to this interview with Queen Ifrica, a JAMAICAN wombman, being asked about the connection to AFRICA in regards to JAMAICANS; this is what we're talking about: the link between AFRICA and JAMAICA.
@karastamusecrecords2 күн бұрын
@ashleyogarro2686 we never seh Jamaicans are the only ppl came on the slave ship. Again, we're responding to THIS interview of the link between AFRICA and JAMAICA. Queen Ifrica is JAMAICAN.

I agree with her on a lot of things....but i will say that I believe that it's not system of power that has women in the state that they are. Plz to kind in mind and remember we are not here without enemy. The devil and the systems he help build is corrupting the mind of young women and men....for example, what about the movies and music that encourage women to be freaks, sleep around, or to be just like men, be confused be a men , be other than what God has taught us how to be. And It's the same devil system that teach men to use women , be gangsters ,killers etc. Point is get in touch with the Most High and be righteous

Bob was one of the very few Rastas who where not as hypocritical as the ones today. They use Africa and when asked they die for Jamaica 😊 contradiction of self. Why can’t she change her name to Ijamaica 😊
@Garyjimbob-k9l2 күн бұрын
I turned it off as soon as she questioned if Jamaicans were African. We know for a fact that black Jamaicans are from west Africa. Its ridiculous really, we know the history and the African languages are part of our language.
