These lyrics speak to me so personally. They almost completley match up with the emotions i felt with when i lost my dad at the young age of 12. To me its not about romantic heartbreak but the heartbreak you feel when someone you love dies. I had this song stuck in my head on repeat during my father's funeral. Its definitely a very painful but touching song to listen to.
