We have stayed several times at the Park Shore and Aston Waikiki Beach Hotel. We love staying at that end of Waikiki due to it being a quieter location and calm water. Being across the street from the beach is one of the main reasons we stay at these hotels. The hospitality at the Aston is great. We have stayed at that hotel more than 5 times and the staff have always made us feel welcomed.

Good video. We always like staying down that end of Waikiki and can't understand the attraction to the busier end! Stayed at Aston a couple of times. The resort fee there is a rip off but you just have to think of it as part of the cost of the room I suppose. Love that it's near the Zoo, Aquarium, Lagoon and has a trolley/bus stop right outside. Much love from New Zealand :)

The Ashton Waikiki was where we stayed during our first visit to Oahu several years ago. Breakfast on the Beach was awesome. Wolfgang Puck’s restaurant was the bomb! Great food. Loved our stay there. Very fond memories as a result of our stay at Ashton Waikiki.

Wow! We've stayed at the Park Shore when they were owned by "Aqua". It was okay back then, but it looks like they've literally turned a new leaf and improved that property a great deal! Something I might consider or the Queen Kapiolani the next time I'm on Oahu!

WHERE IS YOUR RING?! Had me worried! Anyway, we’re finally here enjoying ourselves. Birthday dinner last night at Dukes was wonderful. We took your advice and visited the Aloha Stadium Swap Meet today. Really found quite of few things to bring back to the family as souvenirs at really great prices! Thank you! I really have to recommend Royal Lobster for a treat!…Maine lobster rolls with melted butter drizzled on the chilled lobster, and wrapped in a fabulous brioche roll. Oh YUM! Not inexpensive, but oh so worth the price. At corner of Kalakaua and Royal Hawaiian Ave., enter from RH Avenue side, down short flight of steps. Also, I really need to tell your viewers this…get to your home airport EARLY, and get in line immediately for obtaining your wristbands! Half hour before our plane was to leave, they cut-off handing them out right in front of us, after waiting in line for an HOUR! It was a nightmare at Honolulu airport, waiting in line after line to get admitted, and then our scanning code on our phone (done at home) wasn’t “right” and we spent another 15 minutes reuploading all our info to get a new “code”. Two hours from touchdown to getting our car at the airport…not fun! Once here, it’s been great, just as ai remembered it. Toa Luau and Polynesian Cultural Center in a few days. Thanks for all you do! ❤️🌺🌴, Mahalo, Virginia

Thank you for your videos and all your hard work. I would like more information on the Aqua Oasis Hotel. Hotels that have kitchenettes are more budget friendly. The resort fees they add onto your stay are ridiculous why not just include them in the price.

I just spent 7 days at Aston Waikiki 2wks ago it wasn't bad at all and found the location to be pretty convenient. We had a 3 full bed room with partial ocean view n partial diamond head view on the 23rd fl which was pretty awesome since it was mom, sis and I btw that was us shouting from the white car few wks ago when we saw you guys crossing the street lol

Just a quick question, when visiting Hawaii, friends had a problem with the homeless people. What is your opinion of this, considering tourism is so critical? Is this a Honolulu problem and not so much Waikiki?
@Livingtheglobe3 жыл бұрын
It’s actually a Waikiki problem, the homeless is all over waikiki on the side of the beaches

@donnaflores68903 жыл бұрын
I am curious to know as well. Is it a one time fee or daily?
@alm55353 жыл бұрын
@@donnaflores6890 resort fee is a daily charge for all hotels that has a resort fee. Some includes wi-fi , 2 bottles of water .

Resort fees are generally a rip off...
@Livingtheglobe3 жыл бұрын
It depends on the "resort" I's funny that some hotels charge the resort fee when its not even a resort lol. Most of the time it includes pool, gym access, beach towels. At park shore there was free sunscreen to use by the pool. Even if you do not use any of those amenities, you still have to pay the fee every day!
