Finally, a Reactor with the good taste to do Roger Taylor!!! Start paying attention, Rogers voice is what help Freddie the most.

Killer Queen is about a high class call girl. I think the lyrics are so clever, and it’s not an easy song to sing though Freddie makes it seem effortless. Roger’s drumming in I’m In Love with my Car still gives me goosebumps when I watch this. Reportedly Roger wanted it on the B side of Bohemian Rhapsody and locked himself in a cupboard until the band agreed. Freddie was all for leaving him in there, he didn’t want it sullying his masterpiece, but Roger won in the end. 🤣 I love that story. I had that 45 when I was 16 years old, my mother hated it, she didn’t get it. Now here we are 45 years later and I still love it.
@eloisarosales75063 жыл бұрын
You’re right there,Freddie was really proud of Roger.He loved them all to the core and appreciate each and every band member. Maybe one of the reason why John can’t get over his death,so sad…
@yvrkid70703 жыл бұрын
This whole concert is epic. You need to listen to Roger and Brian's commentary of this concert, as well. You will learn so much about what was happening behind the scenes and all their great stories. When Roger is commentating and sees Freddie look back at him during "I'm In Love With My Car" he said "Freddie is laughing at me thinking I am finally working harder than he is." Killer Queen was their first hit from the Sheer Heart Attack album. It holds a special place in my heart because it is the first Queen song I ever heard and I thought it was beautiful. Still do.
@manuelaherms8792 Жыл бұрын
Queen had a beef with the concert promoter/camera crew and security. The audience was basically forbidden to get up from their chairs, and at some point during the concert Freddie stinked about that. Hence the speech to the audience at the beginning.

Check out the song “Loser in the End” also a song which Roger sings from the album Queen 2 and “Tenement Funster” from Shear heart Attack. Brian May can also sing a nice tune , “(In the Year of) ‘39” is a great song.

Roger Taylor in its purest form, frankly I cannot be impartial to Queen and Live in Montreal is one of those fundamental concerts not only of the band but also of rock. I recommend "impromptu" from Live at Wembley '86 to hear another bit of Freddie's vocal power and Queen's great musical ability.

Your facial expressions during this video was priceless. This whole concert is a masterpiece as the band had come into it's own around this time period. I'm so glad I got to see the original line up back in the day. Killer Queen is an oldie but goodie from 1974 and Queen II, Roger's song "I'm in Love With My Car" was the B-side to the single with "Bohemian Rhapsody" as the A-side from "A Night at the Opera". In an Interview Brian was saying that as the guys were putting together songs for that album Roger told him about his song about a car, as Roger was a car collector. He wasn't too sure about it and as they say....the rest is history.

In fact, "Killer Queen" was ACTUALLY the first Queen hit song, and it was released as the single in the late 1974 as a first single from their 3rd studio album "Sheer Heart Attack". 😀 Oh, and "I'm in Love with My Car" was a B-side of their BIGGEST single ("Bohemian Rhapsody"). Both songs were featured on the band's 4th studio album, "A Night at the Opera", which came out in 1975, just some time after they released "Sheer Heart Attack". ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

Surely Roger Taylor is a metal singer,the rock singer is closer to Nazareth and Smokie. In the original, I'm In love With my car-sounded powerfully and juicier, with the addition of backing vocals by Brian May, Freddie Mercury and John Deacon, which was their trademark and the decoration of any song. Rebeka, if you're hooked on Roger Taylor's vocals, I can offer you two solo albums: Roger Taylor's Fun in Space 1981, 1984 Strange Frontier, 'The Cross' "Shove It" 1988 and "The Cross" Mad Bad And Dangerous To Know 1990". As well as in the band Queen of Drowse, Fight from the Inside, Fun it, More Of That Jazz.
