Can we please talk about Brian's amazing guitaring in Love My Life? I tried learning the intro of the song on my guitar and its one of the hardest song ive ever learned about. He has this hand technique not no-one can ever replicate or do. Such masterpiece

He is using his Guild 12 string strung upside down with the highs on the bottom of the basses. This requires a different nut on the neck to accommodate the high strings being underneath the lower octave strings. This is also what Rickenbacker also had on their 1960's 12 string electric guitars ( the Byrds etc). By placing the high octaves on the bottoms you can then have the high octave sounds on the upstrokes and this is the key to the Byrds, Queen and others songs. Love Of My Live cannot be played on a regular 12 string acoustic as it does not sound the same.
