Quail is tough meat, you have to cook it for a while for it to be tender

Actually, the longer you cook it, the tougher it gets. The trick to having tender quail is to NOT over-cook it.

BornIn1500 If you're going to cook it curry style, I don't think a karahi/wok will do the job. To make the meat well done you may need some pressure. That's why when they grill quail or also known as Batair in urdu they marinade it with papaya to make it tender.

u can use a little more turmeric and chilli powder in oil at the beginning ,it gives the nice colour to ur dish to make it look more appealing,add a little more or coriander to garnish in the end.
