Been a Queen fan my entire life, my brothers introduced me in the 70’s, I took myself through the 80’s, and there has not been one single day since that I have not managed to listen to at least one Queen song. Enter the modern era, so controversial, with Adam Lambert, but their music is literally timeless. With the movie, and Queen + Adam Lambert, this band has literally brought their music through generations of people in families. If you watch a Queen + AL concert song you will still see it packed, but with people of ALL ages, you will see parents, their kids, and their kids kids. Generations. That is how relevant their music has been through time. And they NEVER leave Freddie Mercury out, there are some touching moments with Freddie on the big screen. They were HUGE back in the day and they continue to be HUGE today. And to still see Dr. Brian May (same hair only gray) and Roger Taylor still rocking it out is absolutely amazing. While I cannot possibly choose a favorite song, One Vision is special. You need to watch the One Vision documentary, to really see inside the band, to see them actually working on this song. There is one point that Freddie laughs and it is a joy to hear. People have reacted to it, it is that important, but that is your decision. At least check it out! I have subscribed, I will be watching for more. I will make suggestions, I just need to see what you have done so far! ❤️

One Vision is my favorite song, but did you know it's based on Martin Luther King Jr's speech "I had a dream"? Also, did you know these facts about Queen:? * All 4 were college graduates (Brian May, lead guitarist, became an Astrophysicist). * All 4 wrote #1 songs for the group. Eddie Mercury has been confirmed by scientific sound studies to be the World's Greatest Singer. * Brian May was voted #1 Guitarist in the World by other leading guitarist. * Both Bass Guitarist John Deacon (electric engineer) & Drummer Rodgers Taylor (biologist) are both said to be the most underrated musicians of their instruments. * Dr. Brian May (75) & Roger Taylor (72) still tour as Queen, with Adam Lambert on vocals, not to replace Freddie Mercury because he is impossible to replace; but just because so many people world-wide love & want to hear Queen's music live!

Freddie Mercury had one of the most recognisable voices in pop and rock history. But just how good was the frontman's vocal power? While Freddie's speaking voice fell in the baritone range, he delivered most songs in the tenor range. His known vocal extended from bass low F (F2) to soprano high F (F6).

You’re right if you’re doing queen then it has to be live but there are 3 official videos you need to do for the crisp sound. Bohemian Rhapsody (maybe the greatest song of all time), another one bites the dust (iconic funk) and don’t stop me now (maybe the happiest song ever). If you want another live performance to do then do white queen at Hammersmith Apollo. It’s earlier queen so a different sound but wait for the middle instrumental, it’s a jokes

I’d add “You Take Me Breath Away” as a must do studio version. The Live versions of that song are amazing but the studio version has some genius harmonies and effects done by Freddie that are unique and can’t be replicated live. Of course, there are, also, some excellent studio hits in the later years when Freddie was to ill too perform which makes them even more amazing.

That's why we are called the "Queen Army" it just keeps growing...and welcome to the Army...lol. Live Aid 85 you will want to see. It was a benefit concert for Africa, and other bands there thought they were going to come out as a "has been" band from the 70's and they stole the show. Freddie controlled 80 thousand people. They did what he told them to do and stopped on his cue. They set the bar so high, I felt bad for any band that had to follow them because there was no living up to it. It went down as the best rock performance in history. It's a 20 minute set and if you choose to do it, please do it from beginning to end. Some people break the concert up and react song by song, but when you do it that way you do not get the full effect of the concert and how powerful it was. One thing about Queen, they allowed one another to shine. One did not play over the other, they were all perfectly balanced in sound. And when it was time for a solo by Brian, Roger, or Deacon...Freddie would step aside and get out of the lime light so people focused on them and not him. They did love their fans genuinely and Freddie tells them many many times. They would perform for 50 fans witht he exact same passion they did for 80 thousand.

Queen 'boys' have said in interviews the concerts didn't make money - intake went to offset expenses cause they aimed to bring the best to their fans. Wimbley was full 2 days stright. Brian May once said that they sold out so quickly and easily could have filled the stadium for 5 days.

You should react to the LIVE AID concert! It was an all day event in 2 location, London and Philly! Many performers all day long! Elton John actually performed at both locations! He p performed early in the day in London and then jumped onto the SST ( super sonic transport) and then closed the show in Philly the same day!
