This anime is so lewd it actually detracts from how incredibly well written some of the characters are. The main character sucks absolute dust, gets beaten up and then has to actually train and learn from experience and mentorship to become amazing. She struggles which is more than can be said for the girl bosses of our current era. It's a feminist tribute anime. Strong, powerful women with their own designs, goals and interests that have NOTHING to do with men. It passes the Bechdel test with aplomb. 10/10

Only after watching the slow season 2 opening did I realize, how much I had grown fond of and missed Queen's Blade opening 1. The medieval guitar and the singing was soo good! It reminded of The Sacred Blacksmith and a bit of Ah! My Goddess openings! Loved it! 6.7.2023

This show is a true test of how much ecchi someone can take. Because the plot was surprisingly serviceable for the sheer amount of perverse content they managed to cram into it. It’s still one of my favorites-I just can’t broadcast that.

The characters of Reina is 100% better than Rey Palpatine and every other girl boss character created since 2020. She suffered, she sucked, she lost, she was incredibly flawed but she learned and made relationships and GREW.

@Yʊӄǟʀɨ Yǟӄʊʍօ obviously there's a lot of fanservice, but I can't say that's what the show is "mostly about." Fanservice anime tend to be a lot thinner in plot. Especially if we look at season 2, which had pretty strong plot beats.

Finished watching all queen's blade sequels and series last year but still cannot forget this perfect and amusing op song. Eventhough it's impossible to see queen's blade new series announcement, i still am wishing to see leina and other warriors fight scenes, stories and eechi momments. Actually the queens' blade rebellion series hadn't ended yet cuz claudia hadn't been defeated by annelotte and leina. So it should have continued the story with casual eechi and action scenes like the exiled virgin. How could the production company drop this masterpiece series which is far from ending of the story?

I do love this series. Granted I'm no fan of outfits that don't make sense for what the characters are doing. The only reasons I like it are for the story, voice acting(Japanese and English), soundtrack, and the fight scenes. Despite this my fave anime is Hellsing. Not the ova, preferred Seras to not be cute to the point of being annoying.

Mine are Claudette, Risty, Tomoe, Echidna, and the blacksmith lady. Claudette has the most interesting back story to me. Risty has an awesome sort of antiheroic personality. Echidna just creeps me out, but oddly enough I like her for it. Tomoe has an awesome personality too, just a bit traditional. The Blacksmith has an amazing voice actor, and her son is the cutest thing ever.

The way I got into this wonderful anime is I wanted to watch Ghostbusters 2 and I downloaded the crackle app for the iPhone and didn't see Ghostbusters 2 and I said fuck it and started to scroll down and I told my self I wanted to try to watch at least 1 episode of anime and I came up on this and, I LOVED IT THIS PROBABLY THE BEST SHOW THAT I HAVE EVER SEEN IN MY LIFE!
