It was decided because Freddie was well enough to attend, the video was filmed in his absence, his part was filmed later. Yes on part of the video it appears they are together but you’ll see they are separated & not that close, that’s because it was altered to look like they were all there when in fact they weren’t

When they all present in studio making the music.. The drummer tell the guitarist his opinion sound and the singer demand his own dream sound to drummer.. More like they really push each other to make sure their music stand the test of its time and i never see any artist perform their song and did it justice ever.. They do intentionally make impossible to perform by average artist..

Fortunate enough to have followed this band's trajectory since Crazy Little thing called Love. Freddie, to me, was like the Fonz in that video. But the I wanna break Free vid! just laugh out loud funny. The little smile Freddie gives to the camera as he appears with the hoover, as if to say 'well, what did you expect' was simply perfect. These were the Days of our Lives: I think every fan felt this song the same way. We could see his frailty but the voice and all his mannerisms were still there. Including the little roll of the fingers as he exited the screen. Very moving, even today...

Yes l agree with one comment. I want to break free is such a humorous song the video is timeless. So funny. The days of our lives is very sad. Freddie sings so beautifully. I love the waste coat Freddie wearing with his cats. I’ve seen the video just recently lm going slightly mad. (It’s really humorous). The memory Freddie and queen forever. Brian only really sponsored himself after Freddie's death Would he have played the guitar alone?? the music and Queen's success is born of Freddie's genius Freddie was the heart, the engine and the glue Brian is benefiting greatly from this now; reputation as a money guzzler. Together they were a great team. Every guy was talented The genius, however, was Freddie Mercury Freddie was the engine, the heart and the glue. Let the others say this too.
