Actually I forget what book it is but it talks about how Brian didn’t like his curly hair growing up manly bc it wasn’t cool back then to have curly hair, so he used to straighten it until the early days of Queen. And that’s when he started to let his hair grow and do it’s own thing.

Similar thing happened to me. When I was younger I desperately wanted straight hair (it was cool) but then the constant straightening basically killed it and after years of brushing and poofing I just let it be and it became a wonderful mixture of wavy and curly

I can't help it, whenever I watch videos of Freddie on stage, I just cry. Especially that one where he OWNED the crowd, 20 years after he passed! He's such an inspiration and a fucking legend *change my mind* and I wish so incredibly badly I WAS BORN BEFORE HE DIED I'M SO DISSAPOINTED IN MY PARENTS WTH but in all seriousness, I grew up to their music and even though I never knew Queen as a band (or them at all, I just listened to their songs) they really had an impact on me and I am going to raise my kids to their music, just like I was. Whoever is my spouse or a parent figure to my kids, if I'm not allowed, I'll report them as abuse and get full custody and blast Queen to calm my kids down and then find someone new. The proccess will be repeated until I find someone who is just as keen to let my kids grow up to Queen as I am.
