That oldest child trauma is real and having to explaining and get your younger siblings to understand why y’all’s relationship is tarnished is such an emotional thing to explain because their version of mom is different from mines. When I met my husband for the first time, I was broken. I didn’t wanna be in a relationship with nobody. I just wanted to be alone and as the months progress on, I was just praying woman and I was in my early 20s. I suffered a lot in the military and my personal life, and I didn’t know at the time what the true definition of broken was until I met my husband and we talked about it for hours and he listened to me and I brought a lot of my problems into the relationship and I didn’t think it was fair to him that I did that. He never walked away and we’ve been together 20 years and counting with seven daughters. so I say that to say this that there’s light at the end of the tunnel ladies so you just have to keep fighting. I understand it’s easier said than done, but you can do it.

She right about the diagnosing. I didn’t get diagnosed with ADHD until 3 years ago at 26. ADHD in women shows up different than men so it was harder to spot. Grieving the life you could have or you want because of untreated ADHD is no fun. I grieve everyday because of it. Also, Queen have ADHD too. It normally runs in the family.

This made me cry so hard. I feel for her and im 25. I feel the exact same way. I always felt like i was the slow one and everybody congratulated my sister. Woooo Lord hold her hold me and everyone else who goes through stuff. This is sooo real. I feel weight off my back when someone vents because i truly feel no one cares for me. Its hard when the black household you grew up in does not believe in the mental things children go through now days.
