Even as sick as he was, so thin, still BEAUTIFUL to look at as if you were looking at an angel 👼, he never lost that. At the end when he tells us all as a final goodbye "I Still Love You" gets me every time in the heart.

When Freddie looks straight into camera and says "I still love you" he is in fact saying goodbye.❤

This song is wonderful, Freddie is very ill here, in a lot of pain, this was first shown on 25th November 1991, the day after he died so at that time for millions of fans in grief, this was heart breaking, for me it still is. This was Freddies last message to his fans to say at the end he still loves us.

He was special Freddie ...he was so brave to do this video. We should look up to him as an example of not to give up on what you love

I love how Freddie just wore his heart on his sleeves and waistcoat in this case for the video. This shows not only what a superb artist he was, but also a loving person as well! That last "I still love you" to his fans, friends and family is just an emotional bullseye. Though he never had any children, he loved cats and was a truly devoted cat daddy. The vest he's wearing has pictures of his beloved fur babies on it. Brian, John and Roger (who is playing conga drums fyi) are doing their best to keeping a stiff upper lip. I can't imagine how it must have ate at them inside to watch their friend and brother waste away. Even now, their bond with Freddie is so strong, not even death could break it. God bless Brian and Roger indeed (and for taking Adam Lambert into the fold and the Queen family). I think it was the Queen documentary "The days of our lives" you started reacting to, but you never finished it.

He was dying when this song was recorded. Yes. How he found the strength, I don't know. God bless that kind of drive and pure emotional power. He is one of the greats.

This was the last video with Freddie before he went into seclusion with his illness This one was written by Roger (Man, all 4 were great writers!) The very last song Freddie recorded was 'Mother Love' on the Made in Heaven album Freddie was so ill that he died before finishing the vocal. Brian sang the last verse Worth a listen just for reference. A haunting song! Grew up with this group in the 70's. A very Magical musical time!! Here is the song kzbin.info/www/bejne/bKO2e5Whj7SppZI

This song was written by Roger about his love for his children. Sung by Freddie, it took on a whole new more poignant meaning.

This was the last video he made the end of May 91. He died 6 months later. The last song he recorded was Mother Love. I don't know exactly when. I'm sure you know he didn't do the last verse...Brian did. He's so beautiful even here. Love him so much.

I heard mother love was recorded around May or June of 91

Also in an interview Brian did mentioned, by this late stage in Freddie's life there's a wound on his foot which didn't heal properly and was hurting him badly (not sure if it got amputated). That's why you noticed Freddie didn't make much movement at all during this video. He was mostly stationary in front waving his hands here and there.

I grew up in the 80s; I remember Queen playing at Live Aid when I was 7 watching it on TV. I remember all the tabloids about Freddie's sexuality and then about his health. I remember his final public appearance in 1990 and he looked so frail. Everyone knew something was wrong with him, many speculated what it was that was wrong but obviously that was never confirmed (bless his band mates and manager for loving him so and respecting his wishes). I remember the public statement released by Jim "Miami" Beach about his diagnosis and the next day hearing of his passing. It shook the world, I swear I felt it. Freddie touched so many hearts in life and he continues to do so in death. Now that I'm approaching the age Freddie was at when he passed (I'll be 42 this year) it really brings it all to perspective, life is so short. He was so young and didn't deserve to go out the way he did. Legends never die...Long Live the Queen.

Off tap Life The video was shot in black and white because with color not even the massive layers of makeup could disguise the state of his skin. He was going blind and had a partially amputated foot. It speaks to his devotion to music that he managed to stand up and finish the video.

You are right, this was his last video but not his last song which is Mother love, so emotional, Brian had to sing the last verse because Freddie had passed away. This song touches me so much and every time it ends I reply to Freddie : I will always love you.

If you continue with the documentary you last started..they talk about this last video. It's quite sad. And there is a video on them making this. You see in colour and can see how Ill Freddie is. This is why it was done in black and white. Much luv Faith.

This was his last appearance on video; and the last video he made with Queen six months before his death in November of 1991. He would still record music with Queen on songs that were part of the Made In Heaven album; which would be released in November of 1995.

So sad to see this. Freddie is obviously sick. But his work ethic was amazing as he plowed on through to do this video. I can imagine how hard it must've been for him. And his voice is just as smooth as silk as ever, beautiful.

Yes.. This is the last video... Not the last song recorded though. Freddie recorded THREE versions of every song line to give the band a choice of what to use cos he knew he wasnt going to be there. And the " I still love you" was his goodbye ... He knew the fans would see and understand after he passed. 👍

This is probably one Queen song that still makes me get very emotional, I remember listening to this on the night the story broke that Freddie had died and that itself was like a member of my family died. Ever since that November night back in 91 this tune just gets me, I think the only other song that does more or less the same is Mother Love especially the bit where you hear very raw Freddie around the middle of the song.

I kind of wanted to do a paid request for you to react to this to kind of prepare you for it, but I was beaten to it. This was the last video Freddie ever did. It was recorded only 6 months before he died, and when he looks straight into your soul and says 'I still love you', that was the last thing he ever said on camera. Although the song was written by Roger, it really became Freddie's goodbye to his fans. You can see how he was deteriorating and losing weight, but he was determined to carry on. R.I.P. Freddie. It would be awesome if you could watch the rest of the Days Of Our Lives documentary.

Yes this was his last ever video. Not his last song though if im right the show must go on was recorded after it. But he was far too ill to do a video for it hence the montage video. That song was also written by Brian May for Freddie.

His last video...... PLEASE........ check out "Only the good die young (no one but you)" written by Brian and Roger and performed by the 3 remaining members. They did the video in 1992. FYI- you'll need a whole box of Kleenex.
