I can’t tell about movements, other than to say to me, a non horse girl, he seems to be more stable. I also am wondering if he is not scraping his front legs as much as he did last year; that also might be a good indicator of improvement, idk. 🤷‍♀️ I will say that hanging out with Yfke seems to have made a big difference in his mental health and I believe that also has a lot to do with healing. I love him so; he is the last foal raised by our 👑.

I know almost nothing about a wobbler, but Risey seems to move quite nicely apart from the odd falter. He doesn't seem to be in pain, and is a happy, beautiful horse enjoying his life right now.

Yfke didn't want to let Reintje go - still trying to nurse after she had been weaned! Reintje has a laid back calmness that probably makes her foals feel secure. Friesian horses seem to be good mothers.

Risey has managed to adjust himself and his runs to his condition. He has been able to control his steps and his movements in accord with his new situation. I think that is good because he has to navigate his own movements on his own. You gave him a chance!

Yes, he compensates so well. Even his little missteps when startled are quickly balanced out and he can push off as well as any other spooked horse. Lunging will help increase muscle and stamina, and while he might not reach the full potential his bloodlines support, he will be a very happy and confident horse ❤

It always amazes me when a foal, who has spent their entire two-day life in a stall, get out and figure out in five minutes which foot goes where and how to tear around the arena! Reintje is such a good mother, patient and watchful. Risey looks great - he's getting stronger in the back end, from what I can see. While he may not be completely well, he is still a fine looking horse, and so sweet.

It's so touching to see how Reintje watches Baukje and goes at her pace so Baukje can "get her feet under her" and figure out how to walk, trot, then run. Such a terrific mem Reintje is! I never saw Uniek With Eefje , So lovely to watch! Baukje has got Zoomies, I loved that little skip she gave too, She was quite brave after the initial not wanting to go out and follow Reintje. Reintje is a very attentive mem fancy Baukje having the same facial mark like her mem it must be genetic. I think Risey moves beautifully I wasn't watching as I was typing the comment but heard him and I thought he had a lovely even trot. Then I watched him yep he is definitely moving very well. All the Mares at Stal H are very attentive and loving mem's to their foals, it makes my heart sing to watch them all together.
