we need to remember that these might not be the last matchups. For example, on Enies Lobby, Sanji first resisted to kahlifa, Nami fought Kumadori, Usopp and Zoro fought Jabra and Kaku. I say this because I really find it highly unlikely that Sanji will fight Black Maria, it would go totally against his character to do so, even if you made him develop during the fight, after it, Sanji would become a pretty boring character, since this is one of his most defining traits

I’d love Chopper to fight Queen, but Chopper’s righteous anger is more toward unethical doctors like Hogback and Caesar. Obviously he isn’t cool with what Queen is going but Queen isn’t a doctor per se. That said, him mastering the viruses that Queen has curing them all and/or using them to his advantage in a fight with Queen would be great. I’m still hoping for a fight for every Strawhat so if Chopper and Brook team up I’d like it to be against two opponents rather than one. More than enough people around for that. Tekking should do a Wano roundup(where is every character for both sides before chapter 1000) As for match ups: Luffy vs Kaido(yes this will be messy with many other characters around but we are in the endgame and Luffy needs to defeat Kaido without doubt. Kaido will take care of Big Mom[this will cement his being more powerful than her thus eliminating a need for Luffy to backtrack to battle her after defeating Kaido]. I think we might lose Killer. You dropping how Luffy just casually cuts his lifespan into pieces made me realize something. We figure that people awaken their devil fruits by living with it for a long time, Doffy and Katakuri for example. What if it's that the DFs awaken when the end of the users life gets appropriately close enough. Every known awakening user is (presumably) middle-aged by regular standards while Luffy has cut his lifespan, gotten closer to death, like he's running into traffic. It certainly would get him access to his fruits full potential with the dangerous twists Oda loves to add to power ups.

Chopper and Brook vs Queen sounds amazing! With Bleach I remember always trying to predict who would fight who. Usually I got it pretty close. This feels kind of similar but I don't think I expected them to fight such a strong opponent.

From how much opposition they are facing before getting into major fights, I can definitely see the alliance fail in this original raid. Zoro from all the scenes of him appears to be beat up. On the other Kaido, the strongest pirate in the world have lost a lot of his luster during the Oden flashback after being defeated by Oden pretty much, and beating the scabbards doesn't make him look that tough. Also we didn't get his flashback yet and we are still in act 3, so I can easily see a scenario when the straw hats lose, especially considering how smooth things have been up to this point.

Same tbh. I really want to see Kaido turning Wano into New Onigashima. The remaining forces had to regroup and figure out a plan. Maybe they would train to be more prepared. If we see Franky losing against Sasaki I'm convinced that they are failing here
