We all miss Freddie, but Freddie died many years ago and Queen lives on and honors his memory and remembers him at every concert or performance they have done since then. Freddie is always talked about, Freddie is always mentioned, pictures of Freddie are always put up. I don't know of any other music band in the world that has lost a member and 30 years later they continue to honor and respect their memory the way Queen does Freddie. Drop everything from these QUAL revues that has to do with Freddie Mercury, the videos, "Love of my Life" the songs (also the John Deacon songs) this is QUAL (I love that pun in my native language) the poor rest of Queen .

This song was written by Roger as and the majority of the songs they perform on stage were written by Brian May. Freddie is gone, they don’t live off him or through him. Queen is Brian and Roger’s band. They originated it. It belongs to them. It did not belong to Freddie. They can carry on as long as they wish and they DO lovingly honor Freddie several times at each and every show.
