According to a memo by her private secretary, Sir Edward Young, Queen Elizabeth II's last moments at Balmoral were serene and free of pain. The document, part of a new biography by royal writer Robert Hardman, reveals that the Queen "slipped away" in her sleep, completely unaware of anything happening.
Buckingham Palace has chosen not to comment on the "unauthorised" biography. The book, serialised in the Daily Mail, mentions that the King was nearby, picking mushrooms, when his mother passed away on September 8, 2022.
Sir Edward's memo, now in the Royal Archives, is part of Robert Hardman's latest book, titled Charles III: New King, New Court. The Inside Story.

Harry (or should I say, Markle) put that piece in about Charles refusing to allow Markle at the Queen's death bed so that "they" could also include, "Don't you speak that way about my wife". Catherine chose to stay home because it was their children's first day at school, and she wanted to be the one who told them about the death of the Queen. Death is more scary for adults especially middle aged having a "mid life crises" than it is for children who will just accept that it's something that happens. As a child who dealt w/death in the family among other children in the family NONE of us were scared. Just sad. But for a dying person to suddenly see a snake in the room, and that snake is Meghan Markle, it might have totally disturbed the late Queen’s dying wish to die peacefully… so it was an excellent idea to keep that snake away from the dying Queen. The endless nightmare she would have caused would have been unforgivable by many. Of course, Catherine didn't think of herself and wanted to be there for her children and be the one to let them know that The Queen had passed. Plus, time and time again, she has demonstrated her disdain for the Royal Family. The Queen was a class act, working until the end and even worrying that if she died at Balmoral, it would be an inconvenience, as she would have to be transported back to London.

When my mother passed, my husband of 28 years and my sister's husband stayed home with our grown up children. We preferred to be only me and my sister alone with my mother. Our spouses and children visited my mum a few days before. We were in a state of mind that we preferred to be alone with her. No one wrote a book about this and accepted our decision. It doesn’t matter who the Queen or Charles wanted at this moment it was impossible for any of the family to get there in time. Even Charles who was near the Estate didn’t make it. It was as the Queen wished and all the bickering is the sideshow of the petty and insecure. William would be wise to not comment at all about the words and wishes of the Sussexes. Even if they come calling on blended knees he would be right to refuse them. When my mother passed in her sleep one of her oldest friends told me, “That’s how we all want to go isn’t it?”.

Andrew has support from people who believe that a man's life, even a party boy who's made some very poor choices, should not be ruined by one person, Virginia, who is a proven liar & clearly made a lot of money, happily, out of the decisions she made. Virginia willingly went back many times. She even recruited many more girls ... she admitted to over 50. If what she was doing brought her such unhappiness, how could she have inflicted this on so many others? Pretty disgusting. The fact is she was making a great deal of money & not too worried about the way she did it. Years later she saw the opportunity for another giant payday. A photo with someone she partied with does not prove either rape or abuse. Women who choose to act in a certain way & then pretend they were somehow forced, do incredible damage to the cause of real rape & abuse victims. There is evidence that people have lied about him. Epstein's pilot specified a date when he said that he flew the Prince to Epstein's Island. The Court Circular showed that on that date he had been on official business on the day. The Circular is published the day after something has happened so hadn't been amended.

Of course Catherine stayed for the kids. Harry and Meghan were away from their kids for 3 & 1/2 weeks. As a mother I would have flown home and stayed or packed my kids up and gone back. Oh but they don’t have a plane. In fact they tried to get on Air Force One the President of the United States and they were denied. Don’t know who they finally got to take them home. These two are clowns.
