Paul Rodgers is the greatest Rock voice of all time. He plays with it as he wants with his vocal cords. He knows how to sing while others, more often praised, have shown that they know how to shout

Ernesto Guevara yeah I am a fan of Paul Rodgers, my comment didn't perhaps come across the way it should've, what i meant was he's a great singer but would be easy for him to try and just turn this into a Freddie tribute, glad he made it his own and turned it into a free meets queen performance!

Any band as big as Queen is hard to keep going once you lose a singer, but I feel that Paul is so classy in his renditions of these songs, and he's a real Frontman, with a world class voice, you fall in love with him right away. You just say, damn, what a great singer and he loves the songs. It's a gift really these four crossed paths.

Nobody could ever "replace" Freddie Mercury, I think he was a once in a life time vocal artist. That being said, I think Paul Rodgers did an awesome job. He made the songs his own, but they were still very enjoyable, and true to the original spirit with which Feddie endowed them. I offer you a virtual standing ovation Mr. Rodgers.

the greatest tribute we can give any artist is to keep their works alive. No paul rogers is not freddie but it is clear, from how he puts his heart into performing one of freddies works with his former band mates in queen, paul rogers greatly admires freddie as we do. like freddie paul is a rock trail blazer and icon. Rogers adds a bluesy voice to this tune but pulls it off and i believe freddie would like it.

I think this proves the quality of Queen's songs: Freddie, Paul or Adam, three different versions but all of them great! Who you prefer is a matter of personal taste. I grew up listening to Bad Company and Deep Purple. I always thought that Richie Blackmore was better because Deep Purple is one of the pioneers of Heavy Metal with Led Zepellin and Black Sabbath. But I found out that Paul Rodgers is way better more accomplished Musician, singer-song writer. To me he is one of the greatest along-side with Queen here. No he is not trying to imitate Freddie or be him. He would have lost all respect if he did. He is just a great singer having a great time.

So it's just the name and frequency/type of giggage that you're hung up on? What drew me in was Brian's sound. There's no mistaking it the second you hear it. Much like Freddie's voice. One can still be experienced on this plane. The other can't... I don't much care what they call themselves. The actual music is deeper than whether they call themselves "Queen., "The Brian/Roger Queen Tribure Band" or "WAAAAAAAAAA" Oh yeah: First time seeing Queen was when "Sheer Heart Attack" was released.
