from the opening show, first round and second round, all LOONA concept executed very clean, they play with levels, formations, syncs, props, and also playful with the stage, the choreo also tells u a story not just a dance heavy performance. i'm definitely surprised on how they executed these performances so cleanly. i'm rooting for them this Queendom!

Crazy to believe brave girls was having trouble right before getting on stage with their vocals. They absolutely KILLED this stage

Brave Girls had difficulties preparing for that performance because 3 out of 4 members contracted COVID so they had to practice the dance individually for a few days and they recorded the song not being able to sing how they wanted it to be since they were not fully recovered. The main vocalist (I forgot her name) isn't fully recovered yet on this performance. She keeps coughing backstage and her throat was hurting. Despite that, they put a good performance.

Brave Girls really did well despite having a little time to prepare because of Covid. I'm so glad they finished the performance without any complications (like caughing or straining their voices). Anyways, support all groups please ❣️

Loona's was like a concert and it was such a complete Performance. Brave Girls did an Amazing job. Their story telling was so good and you can see they are working hard and improving a lot. WSJN were also so good and gosh I loved their outfits. Plus the next preview, OMG Can't wait to see what Hyolyn is going to do.

it’s amazing how WJSN did so great despite some members getting covid and being injured. Seola, Yeonjung, Exy and Luda had covid (they had to practice separately from the rest) while Dayoung had tonsilitis on the day of the performance and Eunseo having sprained her ankle right before the performance. Their determination to give their all despite having problems is what i admire the most.

Loona knocked it out of the park for me and I loved it so much. Brave girls did great too as they are still getting over covid. WJSN did amazing too and I enjoyed their stage

The team behind LOONA is REALLY smart. 60% of the score is based off audience scores....their 2 stages so far have a CLEAR concept and story and were ENGAGING. Sometimes when power vocals or complex dance solos are live and on stage, it doesn't translate live (it translates for us bc we have cameras that focus on them, well...maybe more for choreo than vocals). Tomorrow ask yourself what you distinctly remember and both LOONAs stages are clear in your mind. The other stages are also good but kinda muddled in my memory

Fun fact: WJSN is creating a lore of their own on queendom. This performance is connected to their round 1 ‘As You Wish’ with the group saving Seola from the evil (the dancers). In this performance, the lyrics of Navillera is talking about longing for someone but WJSN added some lyrics since the whole Navillera perf seems like the enemy pov which captured Seola once again - which explains Eunseo being Seola’s puppeteer in the beginning. If this theory’s true, then I think they’ll sing something bright for round 3 which will be indicating their freedom from the evil or maybe the evil will end up winning in the end. idk since WJSN has always been unpredictable

i think a lot of non fans didn't know that loona recorded their r1 and r2 stages back to back on 27th and 28th. they had to practiced for both performance on the same time too after having cov1d. so i think it was so amazing how they were able to performed two different stage with two different concepts. from intense, hwarang-esque, ptt to fun, musical broadway shake it.

My thoughts on the three performances: WJSN had incredible dancing, outfits and a great dance break (also, the intro and Exy's rap? iconic). I feel like they took GFRIEND's earlier sound and mixed it with their later, witchy concept (like Apple), and I found that so cool! However, their version didn't exactly grab me sonically. So glad they used the broken sandglass as a prop though, such a cool way to take a mistake and turn it into a part of their story. Brave Girls had a really cool concept, phantom thieves is a great concept to pair with their version of MVSK, which was also really well arranged and truly felt like a Brave Girls song. I basically liked everything... except for the dance break. I feel like it broke the pacing of the song a bit and felt out of place. Other than that, they did a great job, especially considering they were still recovering from Covid. LOONA, and I don't feel biased in this, had the performance so far this season. The concept was so fun and well executed, and you can tell the members really enjoyed it. The outfit changes, the choreo, the props, everything was so incredibly well thought out, it was amazing. Definitely has my vote out of these three performances

Yeah I liked that WJSN tried to make it their own but it felt a bit off and the story and stuff was very off beat and it felt a bit too fast for me at least. But I thought they did phenomenal and definitely made the song their own (as a Gfriend fan tho I wish it was some more Easter eggs like Loona did with Shake it, like Apple or some choreo) but I thought they did the best at making the song different. And their HIGH NOTES OMG😍 But yeah very well done but I think I like Brave girls and Loona a bit more this round. WJSN was my favorite last round but I think this performance was a bit underwhelming compared to that one as well. But like you pointed out, it’s very cool that they blended previous recent Gfriend vibes!! And oh yes Brave girls was very impressive especially because of covid too🙌

I'd say the dancebreak of BG's performance was very needed as its climax and not really something out of place with how the story progressed (blending in > setting up > going through security (dance break) > getting away with the loots) but i understand what you mean.

I saw clips of the live performance (before the Mnet touch-up) & let me tell you the crowd for loona was HYPED. I was almost hard to hear them. I think your reaction confirms it and understand why. They performed not just for the cameras but for the audience too & I think that's why people enjoy it so much

I am not an orbit (purely bc there is so much content that i havent had the time yet to properly invest into it) but this ep LOONA definitely dominated the stage. From story line to visuals their stage was so entertaining and not a single moment I lost my focus. Each member got a highlighted part which I also appreciate. I am curious what the next performances will be and if they will change my opinion.

I recommend you to watch wjsn's commentary about their first stage. They explained there their full concept about the moon and the hourglass and the colors of the sand with red (as villain/bad) and blue (as the good side). Watching that would make wjsn's stage performance more sense

Weirdly I felt nervous for you to react to loona's stage cause I personally love it so much & think it's brilliant. I'm sooo glad you gave them an all-kill. Well deserved! They gave us cute stories, outfits reveal, broadway, locking choreo, masculine/feminine counterparts, great use of props, kim lip growling at the end- just perfection. I can see them being in the top 3 for round 2.

For me WJSN won this round. WJSN ALWAYS executes whether it’s a cover song/dance or their own song and that’s what’s amazing about this group. Ujungs are always amazed each and every time. They don’t just do a regular cover, they go above and beyond every time like there’s always a twist. In each category: vocals, dance, rap. WJSN dominates!!! and I’m so happy everyone is able to see this side of WJSN. There’s really more to just space concepts, WJSN is versatile and you can see it in their discography and this performance. This is why they trend, this is why they’re so loved. They don’t just stick to the original every time and they really did justice to this cover.

For me 1. Loona - LOONA ATE. this is deadass probably the best performance this entire season. Nothing else to say. 2. Brave Girls - surprised at how well they did! Idk what I expected but it wasn’t this. They truly made it a brave girls song and the dance break was cool too! Very abrupt but digestible. 3. WJSN - they ate and their vocals are impressive (Luda and Yeoreum?! What-?!) and the rap was yes and the dance was yes. But as a former fan of Gfriend, they changed the entire song and the lyrics which made it very hard to follow. Because of the new lyrics, I felt there was little to no flow between each part. Also I wish they could’ve kept the same creepy dark vibe from the beginning. The outfits seemed pretty witchcraft like, but the song was very bright so I feel like it clashed a bit.

WJSN's round two performance was great, and i will agree that for me, i wish they could've gone darker with the song because the styling and the intro portion was definitely giving that impression. but then again, i know they arent a group that usually goes into dark concepts. i feel like their styling wouldve been done justice to darker ggs like dreamcatcher, purple kiss, or even pixy. but regardless, WJSN still did a great job making the song their own color.

I love the Brave Girls stage so much!! They have improved a lot!! But the best stages were the WJSN and Loona stages to me. I'm not sure which one is better as Loona had sick choreo and WJSN had INSANE vocals!!! Both they had perfect concepts and outfits. Maybe I would pick WJSN as they even made me tear up. And that Yeoreum solo dance... Well, the performances are being amazing. Let´s look forward to Kep1er, Viviz and Hyolyn ones!

I loved this first part of the second round!! I feel that we got different concepts and I'm completly amazed by brave girls and I want to stan wjsn so much!! about our moon girls: LOONA ARE GENIUS!! great song choice, good way to show how they can do every type of concept and they reached the goal they set: do something like a musical. They nailed it and the full cam is super cool to see because of every detail, from their stage presence to the dancers acting as well! Amazing!!

I absolutely ADORE this performance, for how real and transformative this feels. I think this performance was portraying a story of WJSN transformation and reincarnation after the symbolic death (hour glass being broken). We all saw how deeply disappointed and devastated they were after the accident, but they used that exact same broken hour glass, put some witch magic into it, and reincarnate the hour glass. That ties nicely to the lyrics “Fly like butterflies, Navillera”, because the cocoon had to endure so much pains to eventually transform into a butterfly. This is a super profound symbolism for their resilience as a group: after all the failures and turmoils, they are still coming back stronger than ever. Since this is the story about transformation, of course it would make sense to have a much darker theme. Because let’s face it: the reality of the idols’ life is not all sunshine rainbows and butterflies. They had to endure so much through constant trainings, pour all their sweats and tears into perfecting their performances, yet would still face the uncertainty of when they would EVER be acknowledged and loved by the general public. This version makes the lyrics feel even more raw and real, in my humble opinion. If GFriend members expresses their pure and beautiful love towards each other through the original version, wanting to embrace their youths and togetherness; WJSN used their own symbolic pains and struggles to remind each other that, no matter what kinda storms or darkness or turmoils could fall on them, they have each other, and together, we will keep coming back, stronger than ever.
