Rita - grabe yung dynamics ng boses nya parang di sya nanganak. my gosh.. gusto ko yung kulot nya sa "puso" tsaka lahat ng atake nya dito unexpected. very well delivered yung mga nota. Thea - grabe yung jaw nya.. relax na relax kahit mataas na yung tinitira nyang nota. kahit elevated na yung tono controlled din yung vocal nya. alam na alam kung paano ilalagay yung tamang atake sa kanta. Hannah - Grabe yung rendition nya. sobra ang high notes pati yung shiftings nya klarado. mapapansin mo talaga na malinis pagkakanta. grabe yung pinakawalan nyang high notes dito. Marianne - hirap ng arrangemnent nung kanta pero nakanta nya ng maayos. ganda din nung mga vibrato at shiftings na ginawa nya. yung mga kulot. grabe. Sana mas dumami pa mga singer reactors na makakanuod and magbibigay ng unfiltered comments about our Divas of the Queendom. Yes, I agree very distinct talaga ang boses ni Julie, some bashers say na very "ordinary" daw voice nya. They know nothing. She has developed her own identity in singing na hindi lang belting and high notes ang focus nya. Through the years she learned to control her voice and mastered different genres. We are so proud of her hardwork.

😄 I heard about the Indonesian music or musical genre and style of Dangdut before, and I also heard some examples of it, as I am browsing, searching, or looking for Indonesian music. BTW, my interest in Indonesian music and songs started with Christian Bautista's and Bunga Citra Lestari's "Tetaplah Di Hatiku", which is their collaboration and Indonesian version of Jose Mari Chan's all-English Filipino/Philippine song "Please Be Careful With My Heart", as well as the song "OK" from the duo T2, which I remembered that this song got a bit popular or famous for some time back then here in the Philippines, or at least here in the southern Philippines (Mindanao) or in the specific city, area, or region where I am from, and also when my classmate in high school introduced me or got me interested or curious in or about Indonesian music and songs, and one of them is T2's "OK". I also have had elementary and high school classmates who have lived and traveled to Malaysia, and knowing that also got me generally interested and curious with the music, songs, languages, and cultures of Malaysia and then also of Indonesia. My first or initial and honest impression, opinion, and idea of Dangdut is that it's a uniquely Indonesian genre or style of music with some influences from Indian or generally South Asian and Arab/Arabian or generally Middle Eastern/West Asian and Northern African music. It also really reminded me of Indian or generally South Asian and Arab/Arabian or generally Middle Eastern/West Asian and Northern African music, but with Southeast Asian influences, too, from Southeast Asia's archipelagos or islands/island chains, which Indonesia is a part of, when I first listened to some examples of it. I am a Zamboangueño, a native and first-language Chavacano speaker, and a native and ethnic Zamboangueño living in Zamboanga City, Philippines, and some local Tausug and Sama music and songs from our Tausug and Sama neighbors here in the Western Mindanao area or regional area, most especially from the Sulu Archipelago, also sound similar to this music genre or style in the way they're singing, and even in the music itself, and these are just based on my non-musically and less multiculturally untrained ears. 🤔 There's one word that I still remember from my Music classes or sessions and lessons in Music in the MAPEH school subject before that I still always use to describe this genre or style of music and singing, and that is that they sound "melismatic" for me, as if all or every syllable has or is sung with two or more notes. They're like a chant or a prayer for me, when I first listened to them. I am not a musician or whatnot else amateur, professional, coach, instructor, teacher, professor, expert, or specialist in music and the like, and this comment is just based on my own personal and individual first or initial and honest impressions, observations, opinions, and ideas as a Filipino who listened and still listens to various or varied and diverse music and songs, even in different languages, from different countries, nations, territories, and regions of the world.
