Habe gestern in ähnlicher subtilerVortragsweise den jungen Cellisten Friedrich Thiele (1. Konzertmeister der Violincelli der Staatskapelle Dresden) live gehört. Ein Erzähler am Cello! Sehr menschlich. Einfach wunderbar. Und das Orchester war ein Traumpartner. In beiden Fällen. 💗

I hope I can play the concerto in 10 years, even if it only has 10% of his quality and musicality.

As a 17 year old cellist who has only been playing for 7 years, I am teaching myself how to play this, and it's going great so far given I don't have tenor and treble clef menorized

Im 16 and i can already play it! Just so many different scales n shi
Before, long before the first pop and rock stars arrived, concert halls already offered an expectant audience a good succession of devises, sometimes histrionic, in the vocal and instrumental sectors. A debate on the possible current tendency towards overacting by young people aspiring to shine in the most select auditoriums would be interesting. Where would be the balance point in the staging of a soloist? To avoid, on the one hand, the risk of offering the bodily and gestural expressiveness of a boring civil servant or, at the other extreme, an unbridled succession of tics. That balance would probably be in naturalness and letting the feeling emerge, without turning it into an exaggerated theatricalization.
