I totally agree with all of your points. Queenie is super unlikeable. Cassandra was AWFUL. And it really weirds me out how her and Darcy were both soooo anti sex talk and prude. Made no sense to me lol.

I’m glad you held up the book the whole time because that beautiful cover seemed to be one of the books most redeeming qualities 😂. I do agree when a book is set in your city or the characters like what you’re into etc. it takes the story to the next level.

'if a man told me those kinds of things, I wasn't gonna go with him' I read this a lot about Queenie and it makes me extremely angry because you guys have a lot of self esteem and you don't even know how privileged you are to have that. It's not common to think that highly of yourself, that's obviously how you were raised but many, many people do not have that privilege. Attention feels like love to those who don't. I wonder if this might be more understood by older readers. I think younger people lack compassion and insight into those very different to them.

YESS, I’m find out more and more if I don’t like the main character it’s really hard for me to like the book. Cassandra’s attitude had me flabbergasted to honest. I’m still mad to this day about her actions 😂
