They kept this battle going (hyped). 40 & Bonnie got a lil boring after being complex (good stuff though); they should've cut it short. K-Shine & DNA's energy was just too much 4 them. They had more memorable lines. The "back 2 back" & the NWA songs were crazy. They got the most reaction out of me. If DNA & 40 would have got 2 battle, he would've edged it with his performance. In all fairness, lyrically I think the ladies edged this. Performance wise they were more consistent. Energy wise though NWX had this and gave a better stage performance, but in terms of continuous lyrical jabs, I give this one to 40 BA.R.R.S and BONNIE Godiva. They were non stop even in spite of some punchlines not landing. NWX did a fairly good job with delivering punchlines and in round 1 and 3 had amazing starts but they didn't come in as hard as they could have. The ladies came prepared lyrically and it shows. In all fairness this battle could be debatable, but lyrically speaking NWX was outShined.

Neither team really impressed me to be honest. The women came with the predictable "gay" angle. And the males came with the predictable "thot" angle. That's why I've never enjoyed female vs male battles. They just rap about gender stereotypes, and primarily go for the easy insult the whole time. The women talk about the dudes being bitches, and the males talk about the women being hoes. Both team's third was corny. "Straight outta Thotland" was very lame. All in all, neither team's bars were memorable. This isn't a classic in my book.

Round 1: TIE (but I could make the argument for NWX) Round 2: The Girls Round 3: The Guys Overall, a tie; the girls may have had bars but in battle rap, you gotta have delivery and there’s where NWX bested them. The MAC cosmetics line was fire but wasn’t delivered to its potential. Good battle.

Judging on bars alone, I have to give this one to the ladies. They were consistently present and had sooo many quotables. The guys have the best team I have ever seen in battle rap so far but they didn't show up. Sorry. Their rounds were short, very few punches, and repetitive. 40&Bon 2-1.
