Yes, because I feel like the leaks always happen anyway, and they are always accurate if you go back and watch leak videos for past seasons in retrospect. People who don’t want to be spoiled will make an effort to avoid spoilers. I think the only thing that is ever kept under raps is who wins, and only sometimes.

Alaska has said on Race Chaser that it’s a bit of a blessing to be disconnected like that while they’re filming, since we’re all so addicted to our phones now. As difficult as it might be at first to not have your phone all the time, it’s probably more healthy.

Yea at this point it’s basically impossible to keep all stars casts a secret because these are all queens who have careers and when they disappear for a period of time from not having bookings or being silent online it’s a sign their most likely on all stars, hell this even happens with mainline drag race So at this point it’s kinda pointless to keep the tradition of having people be silent about it tbh

It just takes one person to ruin a season with spoilers, one of them could be frustrated, mad, or just given up and vent to a friend or be spitful to the producers, the reason they filmed all the queens winning the last episode is so no one knows who won

Being without your phone is necessary for a reality show in my opinion. You shout out the world, the news, the distractions. That’s how you get real emotions going. Maybe not best for mental health but it makes good tv

you guys do know not giving them their phones only has some of it to do with spoilers right? Not giving them their phones or access to internet or whatever helps keep the contestants mindset solely focused on the competition which then creates authentic responses and creates drama because of all the paranoia, for the game becomes their reality. It’s a common Tactic for almost every major reality competition show. Most shows usually take away the contestants phones and internet/television access a week before filming I know they do that for drag race, survivor, big brother etc…. That way the contestants remain in insolation so when they meet the other contestants it creates a real authentic reaction.
